Why the GBPCHF trade??? Its the 2nd PSAR running already...On what basis please???

But to be honest with you, both EAs for Ashly system you gave me before doesn't have TS input in it.

Maybe that was a wrong version, and the name is AskFX and AskFX_Entry_Only. (Ask is close enough to Ash, )

Not sure if I got the right one or not?

Yes,the "Ask" part was a typo

AskFX_Entry_Only should have a trailing stop function built in. If you don't see it, go into the code, and add "extern" next to a line without "extern" next to it. All the extern variables are placed together at the top of the code and should be easy enough to find.

Hi mates,The house is quiet unusually. We are very close to the start of another trading week. What are the trades for monday. I am yet to search but I am sure there might be one or two. Ash and all, what sayeth thou?

I take that back, for anyone using IBFX there is a long signal on NZD/JPY. I may not take it, because it has been ranging lately. I attached a picture of the chart, Iam not sure if it will come through, this is the first time I am trying to post with a picture.

Interesting. I implemented MTABONEWEB's EA today on all the pairs in FXDD to see how it worked and whether it would be any use to me. It has initiated trades for EUR/JPY and CHF/JPY (both long). I had eyeballed these earlier and rejected them because they both had AO at red and stochs above 50. Those 2 in combination I thought would make the trades invalid.

So, it will be interesting to see how they go!

The scenario you're describing (Stoch above 50 and the AO not necessarily conforming) fits in the definition of an AshFX SS trade, so those would be valid trades for the EA.

I think you are correct. I suppose I just put my own spin on the rules and thought the two in combination may be a no no.

Not sure I would have taken either of these trades live as both look to be in consolidation after an upwards trend.

If you're trading manually instead of using an EA, I agree with you completely. I passed on both trades due to the strong resistance.

Both currencies are also at or near all-time highs, so neither seemed to be a great trade opportunity IMO.

They were both SS trades but you can also set TakeSSTrades to false and it wont trade SS signals.

Ash, what did you think about the two trades initiated by the EA (EUR/JPY and CHF/JPY)? They were considered second strength due to AO being red AND the stochs being above 50. Can these still be considered as second strength given those two factors?

I can only see USDJPY(Canlde still red and Stoch above 50) and maybe EURCHF (Stoch crossed 50 and AO still red )both as Long SS trades.

What are your opinions too????????

Still holding EUR/GBP from 07/16, don't quite feel it is a winning trade at the end.
Now, it's -20 pips on each position.
