I have personally come to the conclusion that trading longer time frames can be more rewarding. I do not wish to endeavor in this discussion about the reasons why longer time frames can be traded more successfully in the longer run, this subject has been discussed over and over again.
My question here is, what do you do if ones character does not fit longer time frame trading, for the reasons if you are more the impulsive and less patient type of trader and/or if you don't want to keep positions open over night or weekends, would you rather suggest trading Futures contracts in the lower time frames, or would you rather stick to forex trading all together and make do with the lower TF's?
And secondly, if one decides to trade other than forex, what vehicle or instrument is available (commodity or equities) and what do you suggest fits best for trading Intra day, and/or scalping?
I would very much welcome your suggestions and comments on this subject.
