North american union currency ?

please i read and have heard sometimes ago that there will be a north american union currency which will constitute the USD, CAD and the MXN.please does any one knows much about this ? should please enlighten me more about it. to the best of my knowledge it is to compete with the euro cos there seems to be no hope of USD recovery against the euro. teknically, i discover USDCAD has been parabulating around the 1.0000 area for long now and i guess they wants both values equal by the time this currency is out.

Any one there to enlighten me about this, if its true, how soon will this currency be out ?

Laff, it'd have to still be called a dollar. No way the word "Amero" would float w/ the public. Call it "The North American Dollar" and I bet you'd have some takers tho.

Personally I don't care, it would help to stabilize the currency a bit tho, but I'd be concerned about our ability to micromanage currency matters as necessary.
