can i and how do i add 20, 25, 35, 40min and 3hr timeframes in the metatrader platform..can someone help, must if been sorted sometime before but i cant find the answer.

This is an "optimized" version - it is an indicator, not a script. Place it on a 1-minute chart and set the "PeriodMultiplier" parm to whatever you want ie 25 for 25-minutes. Being an indicator it stays on your chart when closed and re-opened, also uses way less cpu cycles. After that, go to Files... Open Offline, find the symbol there and Open it. It now stays up to date tick-by-tick just like a vendor feed chart, place indicators on it, EAs etc.
Now what? I can't tell from that discussion if the piss and moan is out of date or not. I've used the indicator and I have no problem with it. If I did, I would fix it.

and he was smart enough to understood my answer, which can't be said for everyone.
also, learn to exercise your seraching engine: "nonstandard timeframe MT4" , etc ... period conversion has been explained many times already.
but ok - in future, i let you figure out yourself with you "kind senior traders."

actually couldnt get the mt4 script to work in the demo platform, and just stumbled back into this thread via an email update....looks like my solution is here....thank you all, and yes thank you jane i was slipping down with 0% interest...
