crude oil is bought with USD and other limited (in amount) currencies. if oil goes up demand goes down, and eventually the demand on USD and those other currencies goes down. oil is not bought internationally with the yen.

here's one again... by the way, i added more longs on the dow... u can look back at my posts and u'll know why i did that also...

Yet Tokyo still has people driving cars. This is really over my head, I can't understand.

When I look at charts, I try not think about what fundamentals are, about stocks, economies, ect, ect, all I see is pictures and lines. I don't care if consumers aren't happy , I don't care what currency it is.

Actually I do ignore most of them.
When you draw subjective T/L's without any decent explanation or intelligent fundamental analysis they are quite useless. Maybe Scrat can you help you decipher a chart. Your most recent one looks to me to be a serious downtrend. Try moving your T/L back to June 2006 and then what do you see. But, hey you draw yours to support your view ! Lets see where the market truly goes by the end of this week.

crude oil and gas are 2 different things, loooool.

when japan needs to buy oil, it has to buy dollars first. at least when they want to buy it from saudi arabia, saudi's don't take yen. lol

ok, i think i know what's the problem. does your broker offer DJI feeds at ALL times?? or do you have daily gaps on your 1h chart?

here's a chart from NEXTT they offer some lousy charts on DJI...
