TMAC....It loads but only shows up on certain time frames...ie...usd/chf it only shows on 1hr, 15min, and Daily.....usd/jpy...on daily and 5min charts...I have gone in and made a check mark on all time frames, but still nothing...do you have this problem as well..?

Tmac....Thank this one works perfect.....Do I need to modify the setting...or leave them at default?...Reason I ask if the previous alert was set at .03 & .5...so just making sure.

Hello everyone,

WOW! I just finished reading all 245 pages and learned a lot. What a wonderful thread!! Thanks to all who have contributed with their knowledge and have made this a wonderful thread.

Well, since there is a long way between understanding a concept and applying it correctly, with the case below, I would like the help of those with trading experience.

Trying to apply the original Mint with the 1 hour charts, today 04/18 I took the second signal to go short with GBP/USD. Well, the trade turned on me almost immediately. 1. What went wrong? 2. Did I fail to analyze the situation properly and, if so, 3. what should I have considered before pulling the trigger? 4. Was there something that was already signaling that a reversal was "brewing" and therefore staying out would have been a better decision?

Hmmm ... the candle prior to the signal (8:00 GMT) has stochastics slightly crossed UP. As the 9:00 GMT candle was forming, stoch went back down and I didn't enter because my understanding is that I had to wait for closed candles to act. Didn't I get this right? Or, stoch and signal should be well apart to consider their crossing a valid one?

Hi stitch961, thanks for your reply. I see now what you've pointed out.

Regarding 1. Would you please clarify this for me. We get a signal when EMA 5 crosses EMA 8 in the direction of the daily trend and then we wait until RSI and Stoch are aligned as needed before we even consider entering the trade. Is this correct?

Regarding 2. How do you analyze the chart to determine, beforehand, that we are at a swing low and, therefore, would not be smart to go short at that time?

One aspect that made this thread as good as it is, in my opinion, was that those who were learning the Mint and Harold, himself, shared the trades they took. That aspect has died and likely it is because those who were here since the beginning already know how to successfully apply this strategy and don't need much help with the Mint.

For newcomers to this thread like me, would you experienced Mint trades be so kind to post your Mint trades here again so we can learn from you and cross check what we are trying to do with what you did? Something simple like currency pair, buy/sell trade, entry price, entry time (GMT) and trade outcome (+/- PIPs obtained) should do it.

Hi I don't know how active this thread is these days but it would seem a shame for you to read through the whole thing, come to the end and then realise theres no one here to help you

Personally I use this system to a degree but combine it with a few other things I've learnt along the way so it would just confuse you more if I were to post the trades I took.

I think if we go the other way and you post maybe some trades you see or make and then people can comment.

Take what you've learnt so far and just have a crack (not with real money of course) post it and add questions or whatever. I think this is the best way.

I will do my best to help where I can and hopefully others will do the same.

the original is explained 2 emas rsi and stoc look on daily chart and see last candle of day and see if 2 ema are crossed and rsi crossed 50 level then trade only in that direction starting at 2 am est look for setup there are a few other things to look for like corelation with the yen pairs that you can read as for my change i kept the indicators but use them to confirm only i still look on daily chart for trend direction then look for 123 setups here are 2 charts to show you each one hopes this helps
