Is anybody else having problems with Accu charts today, and/or yesterday? There seems to be an ongoing problem with data feeds.

i'm using OANDA and FXsol for live and ODL MT4 demo for the chart, accu charts to rigid for me.....

no issues for me on fxsol or accucharts.

yeah their servers crashed, they're suppsedly recovering data or whatever. My positions were still fine though.

I just started using a FxSol demo account and I noticed that I cannot enter a buy limit entry greater than the current bid. I know that with FXCM and Oanda you can enter limits at any level. Is that not allowed with FxSol or other brokers?

Sorry if this is a basic question. I am new to forex and their brokers.

Edit: Nevermind, I figured it out. I guess that is why you demo brokers.

Does anyone know if the Awesome Oscillator and the AC are available in Accucharts?

Where can I get more information on how to program indicators with the Tools Editor? The help file is a bit cryptic sometimes.

Consider downloading their demo and test it out. You may like it. You will also find the answer to your questions faster if you use the web.

Anytime your having a problem with your charts, accounts, brokers... give them a call instead of posting your problem on this site. They have the answers you need and you will receive an answer a lot faster.

i think you need to understand how pending orders work,

for a buy limit to work the price you want to enter has to be below the current price, to get a pending order above the current price use a buy stop

a sell limit works the other way sell limit the price of entry has to be above the current price and sell stop is the price of entry has to be below the current price

nah they dont have any of the bill williams types of indicators yet.

Huge gap in my charts for about 8 hours. They said they are aware of the problem and will have it fixed on the weekend. How can you intraday trade without having enough data? All the indicators are screwed up. NOT GOOD Hopefully they have it fixed quickly.

Ya, I may have to. The spreads are nothing to write home about. Still have holes in my charts from earlier in the week. Now they decided to open later on Sundays. Great move-----NOT! Bunch of crap, wonder whats next?

As of Sunday, October 5, 2008, FX Solutions trading hours will be Sunday at 17:15 ET to Friday at 16:30 ET

As explained in the FX Solutions fast market policy, there are times when the market displays extreme price volatility. Usually, but not always, this occurs when there is an economic release or when market moving events are occurring, such as major policy decisions or interest rate moves.




Given the recent financial market turmoil, fast market conditions are now in effect, and this will affect the placement of pending orders by our customers. We have taken these steps to protect customers from erratic price movements - which have characterized currency markets recently. This distancing of pending orders from the current market price has been temporarily implemented to protect customers from extreme gap fills in periods of increased price volatility. Note: Since this only affects pending orders, there will be no impact on the placement of Market Orders.

Separately, temporary adjustments have been made to New Zealand currency pair pip spreads to reflect current foreign exchange market pricing for those pairs. All “major” pairs pip spreads remain unchanged. To view all pip spreads, please visit our Currency Pairs and Pricing page. All FX Solutions bid / ask spreads remain fixed on the Global Trading System platform."

NZD/JPY 20 pips

AUD/NZD 20 pips
