Highly doubt it geppy respected the 211.70 region so I dont think there will be a gap however i do think we might see 210 or high 209 but that's it we might see it evenutally touch 214 to 214.50 area in the coming weeks

BUT, we need a clear and convincing breach of the TL i mentioned. also just like vinish said. there is a potential for a double bottom. we need next week closing below that TL, and that TL acting as resistance. if price fails to close above after that, then and only then we will see a huge potential fall that might drag lots of the carries down with it.
we have seen lots of strange, or unusual, disconnection between crosses and indicies. dow fell 600 points in 2 days while geppy didn't go down a bit. we might have the same action if dow falls. who knows, geppy might follow DJ this time.
only one way to know. next week

When investors finally realize that the S**t is going to hit the fan so to speak, fear will return and we will see a carry trade unwind to the basement. Trendlines, indicators, fibs will not be respected, look at August 2007, it will fall fast and hard.
When, who knows, but I expect it to start this week with the FOMC meeting.
Global inflation combined with global economic weakness has the central banks against the wall, need to raise rates but can't due to the weakness.
So we are at a impasse'.
G/Y needs a lot of buyers to come in to break this resistance at 213.50 and a lot of sellers to break to the downside. Should have happened Friday. But again no fear, no selling.
We could range for a while but I think Wednesday will be the telling factor for the direction for weeks to come.

yes we have seen the DOW fell 600 points in since 2 days while GJ didn't go down a bit .
lilmoe , i have monitored DOW ,VIX,BONDS and GJ every day (really every hour ) since past week .
1-U.S stocks (DOW ,...) fell the most in a month.this fall is by reason renewed concern that mortgage losses and a slowing economy growth that will reduce earnings at financial companies .even with forecast of bad for more writedowns (Goldman sachs -Lehman Brothers -.....)and even with bad forecast for consumer confidence and new home sales in the next week .
lilmoe ,this time isn't for see a uptrend for DOW .
2-VIX has increased to 22.87 . we see a uptrend in VIX since May till now .
3-chart GJ is clear for all.
4- BONDS
yes i think we must examine answer to your question in Bonds .
we have seen a increse in U.S. 10 YEAR YIELD from 3.84 to 4.24 since a few past weeks .when the people are seeing fall in U.S stocks ,usually they will take a decision for exit from stocks markets and enter to Bonds markets .of course this increse was by reason pared bets the Federal Reserve would raise interest rates by September(that i think this is a black pea )since a few past weeks. but with these bad news from U.S. ...................
lilmoe attention :The Treasury said this week it will auction $20 billion of five-year notes on June 26, the biggest offering of that security since February 2003, when the government sold $24 billion of the debt. It will sell $30 billion of two-year notes on June 24, the same amount as its last offering on May 28.

nope, confusion still exists. i didn't say the TL on the DOW wont be breached. and at the same time i can't be certain that it will.
the things i'm certain about (to an extent).
euro: next week is a sell as long as 1.5651 ain't breached (and more like it won't, i expected it to shatter, but hey, check out PA on the 4h chart)
cable: big seller too (as long as the daily TL i posted earlier is intact, a retest is very likely at the beginning of next week)
UJ: i could swear that damn 4h chart says SELL. but that sucker has been fooling around with us lately, and is likely to continue its journey up)
gbp/cfh: a dump. (will reenter next week)
EJ: to the shitter, looooool. seriously, if we get euro to tank, this sucker will breakout from its 4 month old ascending wedge. that would make the first target at 161 then 158
