DislikedHey Putto (lol, nice nick BTW!)
I mention retail activity as an indicator of where things are likely to go, given that uninformed positions tend to be pretty constistently on the opposite way of the one the market will follow. Cerayinly not as a driver of where the price will go. I am aware of the small weight retail trading carries. I used to work at an Inv Bank and among others did strategy projects for their head of FX, so I know retail flow can hardly be considered to drive price. You could multiply it by 50 and it still would have hardly any influence on direction. But thanks for the heads upIgnored
Contrarian is certainly a tactic that has good value!
And im sorry if you took my comments as derisive of your knowledge; they were more intended for the many noobs that surf these pages that as i said, take everything literally at face value and labour under certain misconceptions. There are 60 odd looking at this page right now!
Nice call from 204 btw! I bet that paid for a nice holiday or three!
