Ash could you have not got back in on that trade nzd/usd going Long?

AO ok

AC ok

Stoch ok

Do we have to stick to what the SAR says?

It's in the "final points" of the method:

"Please bear in mind that when entering a trade, it doesn't matter in which order the indicators may line up, e.g. the AO and AC don't have to change colour at the same candle as the first PSAR dot appearing. Or perhaps the AO / AC / Stochs might be compliant before the first PSAR dot appears, or vice versa, and this is fine."

I had another question about this as well. In the Entry Rules of the "revised" PDF, you note that the candle must agree with the rest of the signals.

In the Final Points section (quoted above) you say that order of the indicators doesn't matter, but there is no explicit mention of the candle.
Does the candle direction always have to agree with the trade direction when the trade is taken, or can we take the wait-and-see attitude as we do with the indicators?

Entry is only made on the appearance of the PSAR.

What this means is, it doesn't matter which order the AO or AC or Stochs line up... So either AO can come before AC, or vice versa, or AC can come before Stochs or vice versa, or AO can come before Stochs or vice versa. It doesn't matter. But as long as they all line up when the PSAR appears it's cool. I.e. they don't all have to change on the same candle.

What DOES matter is that we only take trades upon the close of the first PSAR dot.

Hope this clarifies things, and apologies for the ambuigity.

I don't see that on my FXDD platform, but for all intents and purposes, yes, that is a long. Wait till candle closes.

hello there, i am looking at the charts. AshFx, you posted the pdf document (the first post). i dont understand why you didnt enter long eur/usd on 9th of june. wasnt that a valid entry ?

I also use FXDD, and it's on my list... odd.
At any rate, my PSAR dot hasn't dropped yet, but everything else looks good.

Ron, Thanks for taking on your time for coding all these EA i see around the threads at FF.
I was wondering if, for "AshFx Daily" It would be possible for you to code a dashbord similar to the one swingman made for the pipnailer ?

Something that in one chart shows you all the possible entry for all pairs.

I have any clue about programming, so off course i mean if it s not to complicate and if it doesn't take too much of your time...

Btw thanks again to both of you guys for always being kind, patient and helpful

I think a number of us are trying the EAs. I'm not sure what you find odd.

This one got stopped out ( Demo trade )

In hindsight there was a descending trendline so should not have taken a long here.

Ash I know this is not on FXDD but would you have taken this trade?

Yes, you're right, that was a valid long produced by the system, but I personally didn't take it.

Reason? Look at the pic below. There was a relatively strong resistance at that point. Taking that trade in my opinion would be folly.
