I have position open, EJ sell, at 167.44, SL 168, and I am posting this so later, I can look back at my post, and say , patience paid off, after holding position for as long as it takes. (unless I get stopped out)

May be a tad early for this to confirm, but will be watching it. Included is a line chart of the exact same TF and trendline, part of my reason for drawing the neckline where I did rather than the end of that bear spike.

Got that as a tip from Trout on the news area one time, when he was discussing where to draw necklines to help filter out noise and spikes on smaller TF's...

Anyway, I like that it comes after a nice long runup, like it should. The NL also converges with the longterm fib, so a break either way should be significant. What do you guys think?

Be back tonite, have to hit the hay. I'm starting to feel like lilmoe here after too many hours up, just not as cranky...

That won't do anything at all really there's lots of oil the price doesn't reflect the supply and demand. How much do you think they will find offshore? a couple trillion barrels? That would only really make a small dent.
Something else is fishy. my 2 cents is this the big boys are betting on a big war being declared.

I am curious why every body uses this thread to discuss every single damn currency pair available. THERE ARE usdjpy and eurusd threads.
And if you wanna discuss other currencies you can create corresponding threads.

And PLEASE (especially so called "senior" members do not make separate post if the only thing thing you post there is a smile or a "LOL" word.

THANKS.

Well, we should probably discuss the u/j and the g/u in order to get the corerct analysis for the g/j since the g/j is the function of the g/u and u/j. Better throw in the YM also since it has an effect on the g/j too.

Evilgoat......I beg of you, please do some research on the subject. There literally is enough oil/natural gas out there just waiting to be sucked out of dear ol' mother earth to sustain decades of economic growth. The economic law of supply and demand works. The only thing I see that will stop our economy from the coming collapse is cheap energy. Oil is the cheapest energy we have.

I have done my research that's why I'm going back to school and taking alternate energy systems this coming fall. Yes I agree there is enough oil/natural gas in the earth to last a very long long time but that doesn't mean we're able to get at it and the harder it is to get at the more it cost to get it. the fact is there is lots of oil right now without finding more and the price is high right now and not based on supply and demand.

Yes i agree , this is totally speculator driven surge, and the ones whom have the stake to sell them are loving every minute of it, as their pockets deepen.

hey malcolmb.....where can i get rapid rsi?

Quoting malcolmb14
Disliked
rapid rsi ( available for mt4) , macd 12,26, 9 , and regualr rsi (14 setting)

also 10 , 20 and 50 sma

50 sma ennvelope with a .15% deviation ( a Keltner channel is the same)

I look for
1) rapid rsi crossing out of 30 or 70 on a 15 min
2) regualr rsi coming out of 30 or 70 on the 15 min ( this is the perfect storm)
3) then zoom in on 5m in and look for the same

then the trade is when the rapid rsi cross down thru 70 on a 5min , take low of candle - 15 pips. opposite for longs

easy as that

here is gbpcad 15 min and below 5 min. 15 min gave me rapid rsi sell trigger , compolete with an evening star right at top of ME envelope .. zoomed in on 5 min . saw rapid rsi sell trigger , bar low =- 1.9965 - 15 pips = 1.9950 entry .

I have closed trade for 40 pips profit.

I would rather do these kind of trades when I have time then wait days and days for a swing trade to work out and constantly worry about it.

currently i am flat .
