I'm new to metatrader platform

I'm new to meta trader platform ,

I'm trading 5m chart but the problem is that i need to switch all the time to check the 30m chart , it would be very convenient if someone could explain to me how can i add a 30m chart as like a small indicator window on the 5m chart .

You can open two windows for the same Symbol, one for M5 and othe for M30. Between what are you asking, I think is not possible!!!

i have seen a chart as a indicator window in the past and i don't know why that really barters me that i cant quit figure it out .

Metatrader has a really good Help section. If you are in mt4 just press "f1" button. You can also Search here and find the most common answers.

As far as quickly switching charts, why not have both charts open? A 5m and 30m right next to each other, would that be quick enough for you?

Heres are crazy idea...

You could definately draw the 30M price action as an MA on the 5M chart. You could also rescale it bar for bar. That way you can see exactly what the 30M chart is doing without switching screens....
