The monthly and weekly charts are telling us that 213 is the line drawn in the sand by the bears. Watch for a massive counter attack to collect the stop losses of late entry bulls.

Try to find out why Geppy is doing what she is doing. There are a shitload of sell orders sitting at resistance. Each attempt at breaking this resistance absorbs some of them. Unless bears are constantly replenishing them, they will get used up. Look at what happened at 209. It got hammered by the bears defending it on the first 2 attempts on the rise from 192. Each new attempt at breaking 211 also places a buy at 209 area. Bulls are consolidating a base to push up from, and Bears are defending 211 mightily. This will continue until one side gets overrun. It is trench warfare. Each side attacking and counter attacking. This consolidation could last a long time.

The short term trend is up, after a massive carry trade bail out. That uptrend lasted for years. This pair moves downward much faster than it does upward, because of the big swap. The bulls are setting positions at each level of support and collecting a nice daily interest. Why fight it?

There must a trillion or so dollars holding a long position from below 192 from years ago, The risk aversion caused the long positions to bail out and take profits to cover their other losses. There is NO risk aversion at this time. YET. If risk aversion returns expect another bail out of longs closing their positions, which is in fact a sell.

Listen to what Gene22 is saying. He understands the bigger picture.

decoupling eh?? Bovespa was up nearly 800, now up 100. Maybe China will start the waterfall this evening, with Shanghai Comp down again

I am getting more convincing Bears shall rule soon. Watching how the PA moves, everytime it pushes up and get sold off again ..and again ..and again. Don't think Bulls will get to 213 area ..jmho.

P.S. Geppy is also quite over-bought .. imo

Tomorrow is freaky friday the 13th. I expect to see some short covering and profit taking on all the pairs that had big runs this week, because they may not want to carry positions over the weekend. Tonight is friday on the asian session.

YM ( dj emini) ,moved up 160 points and down 170 today ...

GJ ... hardly moved !!!!

My theory that GJ was not moving down and that it was waiting for the market to go up was blown out of the water htis morning when it did nothing as the dj gained 160 points

Once GJ decides to go she is REALLY going to move , but which way ???

S1 is 209.26 .. placing sell stop down there and buy stop above R2 at 211.12

That should cover both scenarios !!!

I like the down one more than the up one

I am really not going to anything .....

this week is a waste of time in gj ...

YM day trading has given me over 800 points this week ..... with less hassle and stress. Once the YM filled its gap today (inevitable in a bear market) of 160 points she bounced 60 points in 20 min ( again inevitable).

anyone that likes trading divergences or says bearish divergence does not work ... here is the YM chart for today ...look at that divergence off the double top .

also attached 1 min chart of eurcad from earlier today that gave a 60 pip trade form a 1 min chart set up
