Seriously though zak, exactly why where they banned? It'd better be temporary!

Looks like the cheeky short on crude was very cheeky! suprisingly its now at 138.10 and still climbing! wonder where it will end??

Have a good weekend all

Hi Rocwell, Nice quick and cheeky short trade on Friday - went against all the CCi rules, but nice pips anyway. Thought it was too risky but brilliant trading nonetheless. A good way to end the week. Crude just went away around 4pm so I think for all concerned a very, very cheeky play and good on you. Lets try and keep the contributions going on the forum so other traders interested in the CCI method can get some benefit.

FXPimp and Dan007 where are you....enjoying a couple of 'cheeky' san miguels and the odd sniffter of tequila.....Come back....

Hi Dan007

Don't know if you are still able to read this, but could you get round the posting issue (legitimately) by posting in the journal section?

It is the same as the blog you are doing - posting your charts and analysis, and then people want to know how you get your signals... so they check out your profile which has helpful email addresses on it. Other people do it. No need to mention any "rooms".

Worth a thought?

BRING BACK DAN007, please

The boys are back in town over on FXFisherman, so if anyone wants to follow this thread without trawling through the recycle bin join up over there.

FXPimp is wearing spandex and is totally pumped (or pimped).

Ready to offer his analysis tomorrow morning as usual.

I’m very disappointed Dan & FX Pi*p are banned. Their posts were so enlightening. Please FF, revise your decision. Many among us need desperately their words of experience and wisdom. If they did something wrong, please point it and give them second chance. They definitely deserve it.

Hi rockdrive, Hope you had a good weekend. Yes i know, very cheeky and could have gone so wrong but it didnt so not going to complain! Quite chuffed cos it was my 1st ever crude oil trade. Wouldnt even have ever thought about trading crude ever if it wasnt for those guys! Its a shame that FF decided to ban this thread, to be honest i'm not that surprised but its a shame they refuse to see the wood for the trees. I personally have learnt SO much from this thread and have no regrets about joining market bytes. in following the strategy and before joining marketsbytes i made in excess of 200 pips and have continued to develop since joining Dan and the guys and i get the impression that your experience has been the same in terms of developing an understanding of the market and how to profit. Anyway, looks like forex factory's loss is fxfishermans gain! see you over there this week!!

Hi Folks! I am sorry for any disappointment here. This thread has been moved to the Bin because it has been determined that Dann007 and FX Pimp are business men operating in the Forex industry rather than traders. This was brought to our attention by one of their own customers who said she was disgusted to see them using FF to fool traders into buying their products.

FF is and environment designed for traders, it's not a platform for businesses people to springboard their companies from. The interests of the true traders are the #1 priority of FF. The rules are cut and dry with the "traders in mind" mentality, and we've have had the same Rule #3 for about 4 yeears. Dan007 and FX Pimp are in violation of Rule 3 so they must be banned. If I'm mistaken and they aren't in violation of Rule #3 then tell me about it. Otherwise they aren't allowed to operate at ForexFactory.

Hope you had a great weekend and cheers gang!

Sir - As one of the newbies who has been on the site for a short time, I just want to respond to the above. The site is for traders, predominantly those who are home traders. Why therefore are you limiting the posts of genuines like minded home traders who are contributing enormously to the skill and technical ability of their followers. I have looked at Cable, Auslanco and others and frankly much of it is gossip, innuendo, and plan old b..s. The fact that some very talented traders have taken the time to share their views and post some pretty amazing stuff is what I thought the forum was about. I have obviously been mistaken. You mention rules, but it seems to me that much of the complaining comes from vested interest groups, who are not really keen on the idea of shared success. So what if traders who post have some commercial interests - making money is what we are all trying to do. If these posters can trade and trade successfully, share their successes and formula with a wider audience, then why ban them. I am not sure I can see the logic. I have only had the pleasure of their input from May, and by following the cci rules and their respective trading strategies, I am making pips....Fellow traders, surely this is what we want. Please Twee reconsider and allow these excellent posts to continue.
Cheers,
Rockdrive

Rocdrive has answered so eloquently it is hard to add - only that we are also newbie home traders who have benefited enormously from the FREE input from Dan007 and FXPimp. We have never been asked for any money or hassled to join their group, and they have always answered our posts promptly and without disdain. They are sharing their knowledge freely - a rare occurrence in this day and age - and what knowledge it is.

Please, please reconsider their reinstatement - so what if they are making money from a related business. They are also helping us for free and that is the whole point of this site is it not?

Kind regards,
Scorpion and Fran

Hi guys! Essentially you're asking me to allow Dan and FX Pimp to break Rule #3 and allow them to use FF to build their business. I hate to say it but that would be a long shot. The FF management is confident that Rule #3 has been a major key to the success of the FF forums. Most traders don't want signal sellers trolling their forums, the evidence of this is in the size of the FF forum compared to other Forex forums. If you guys don't mind interacting with signal sellers then there are bunches of forums out there for you. It appears that you've established a nice thread over at FX Fisherman, so why not just use that forum?

PS, I read the thread at FX Fisherman and saw that FX Pimp said he was banned because of "jealousy". This is a typical response we hear from sellers who are banned from FF. We don't sell anything to traders and we aren't partners with anyone who does. ForexFactory only makes money from advertising. There is no jealously, just Rule #3.

PSS, The guy who posted this post is actually FX Pimp. This type of behavior is typical of the hundreds of scammers we run across at FF. Be very careful with your money around these guys!

Sir,
I remain miffed at the way this whole process has been managed. No going to make any further comment other than I disagree with the site rationale. Regarding your point about scammers.....well we are all grown-ups and I'm sure we can take responsibility for our actions. Thanks for taking the time to respond anyway.......A disappointed London Open Forum Thread Subscriber

It seems to me that some are allowed and others not. Take for example theLFb- if that ain't promoting a signal service what is?

What say you Twee?

I too am offended at how you view Dan007 and FXPimp. We agree that it is a good idea to keep scammers and rubbish off these sites - however, there is a difference between scammers and people offering a genuine service, even if it is paid for.

They have helped us beyond belief by posting charts and answering our posts without us parting with any money at all. Anyone with a brain could glean enough knowledge from this thread to start trading profitably without joining their trading room. Also, they are not offering a signal service, they are educating us to see for ourselves the right entry points for profitable trades. We are profiting from a professional trader's knowledge and market insight and genuine pleasure in teaching others. Between them they are building a community of like-minded traders all trying to make a living and helping each other.

Unlike scammers, they are trading their own strategy that they teach to us with their own money and we genuinely believe that they take pleasure from hearing about our successes - and offer genuine advice when we fail. I am only pleased that you are able to concede that you think they have a good strategy.

Yes, there is a strong thread building over on FXFisherman - and long may it continue.

Regards,
Scorpion and Fran

Just to clarify,

I am in no way connected with the starter of this thread.

But,

You only have to take the time to read the thread from the start and everything is explained in detail, there must be at least 50 charts posted, and the set-up is explained fully in the first 3-4 pages, even down to showing what moving averages are used on what charts, as for indicators, there are no custom indicators used, just standard moving averages and cci's.

Not rocket science setting the chart up to the same settings.

I'm not saying everything about the strategy is explained in detail because trading technically like this is more down to getting to know the markets and experience but a clear grounding is given.

Check out the charts, and then bring up the same trades on your charts and you will learn loads about how the markets work, we have learnt a lot, we don't use the strategy on its own, we also have our own indicators that we like to use, but a lot of the information given freely will integrate well with any system.

Signum, this may offend but you either havent read the thread from the begining or are frankly far to simple to be risking your money on trading. practically everything you need to use this 'system' is in this thread. As for calling dan007 and fx pimp scammers...you simply dont know what your're talking about. yes they run a service and thanks to this thread i joined, but not before following the info on this thead and making ALOT of pips beforehand conviced me there was something to learn that was worth the the modest financial risk.

Having been involved on Dan's trading site for the last couple of weeks i can honestly say i've had my eyes opened to the way the market moves and made a heck of a lot more pips than i normaly do. personally i just dont see how imparting knowedge and convincingly helping traders increase their profits qualifies you as a scammer.

No doubt yourself and others reading this may think that i'm simply part of the scam, well just take a trip over to the forex peace army website for other peoples views on the service if you dont trust me.

Peace
