I am been trading the forex for awhile but, I have bought a couple of EA with the word "Backtesting the programme" what does backtesting means and what is forward testing means as well?

Backtesting is testing historical values. Forward testing is testing 'live'. Not necessarily with cash but at the current time. These are done through the strategy tester on Metatrader
