true. but in this particular case i would have expected to see a reversal pattern, even a weak one. which i don't. so i'm still in standby mode.

to count a correction u must take the number of the desired swing to correct and its genereally dbl tim and a half beofre progression can continue

so a 12 month decline would be 30 month correction if thatptior swing to complete is finished and a new one is to evolve

Don't over look the market sentiment. Market is driven by the perception of traders. Last month's NFP (News out last Friday or yesterday) and rising unemployment rate enough to cause jitter among the traders from the fundamental perspective. Severely, it could ripple down to panic and money flows back to safer places like gold and bond. Technicals may temporarily be abandoned.
Unless, something change in the fundamental outlook, it's very difficult to see the turning point. I ain't saying is a straight line collapse. Benefitting from the technicals perspective in this situation, we may able to trade the "zig-zag" along the collapsed line
.. just my shallowed observation ..

We've seen this happens from time and time again. Another instance: Last month after the NFP news, market was happy as the outlook showed postive and the market rallied and all Yen Cross pairs rallied as well. This month is likely to be the opposite
