Mini-accounts with trailing stop

Hi,

Does anyone know if there exist mini-accounts with trailing stop support?

I have not used it but I have seen Trailing Stops as a tool on the VT charts from CMS. They have mini accounts.

gain capital http://www.gaincapital.com just released trailing stops, however they do not offer mini contracts.

Check out www.forex.com, a Gain Capital Group. They have mini-accounts and their downloadable java platform is suppose to have trailing stops.
Still haven't found what I'm looking for...

on Gain's platform, all you do is enter a trailing stop order, and it will follow your open position. its really easy. go download their demo platform and you will see...

Do you use trailing stops? Do you find that you come out on top using them?

Unfortunately it seems that there is not trailing stop support on the java-based platform, which is for the mini-accounts.

UPDATED!!! I just checked once again with the guys at Forex.com
The web-based platform does not support trailing stops. But if you use their java-based platform (that needs just the installation of JRE), then they have trailing stops there. It is a pitty they do not write that on their web-page.

yes i use them in most of my strategies. there are three main ways i exit a trade...

1. Stop Loss (usually set to 2x AverageTrueRange)
2. Trailing Stop (usually set to 3 or 4x AverageTrueRange)
3. Low Bar Exit (exit when price is the lowest low in X bars)

Hi edcactus,

I thought I could share some info about this topic.

You can try the brokers which use metatrader www.metaquotes.net platform. Most of them are Russian. Metatrader have a builtin feature of trailing stop and its really neat. The only catch is that metatrader software have to be running as it keeps on adjesting the trailing stop.

I use metatrader with demo account from http://www.alpari-idc.ru. They have mini accounts but they charge 3 bucks commission for every trade

I believe these guys have a platform with a mini account a trailing stop and a 3 pip spread. http://www.forexgi.com/profile.htm However, it does say no USA customers ?

Its so funny how FGI do not accept US based coustomers. Any Forex broker who is running bussiness from USA and not memeber of NFA (www.nfa.futures.org) is fishy. You dont have protection for your money so just be carefull.

I agree with your comments about being careful about Forex Global. Personally I would not use them, however, I have not seen any adverse comments about this company. My posting was not a recommendation it was a reply to a question that was asked by edcactus.
Wtf is going on with them lately?Screen blanks out .Just had a huge move on the pound and I couldn't exit trade.Had a trailing stop never activated and to top that off I tried to buy since I had a sell order.Now all of a sudden phones are busy.WTF.ANy body else with this problem evn if it is with other brokers?
In case your still around .... I know ... this thread was started in 2004.... and it only took Oanda 10 years to get trailing stops but they are here now .... and full flexibility in order size.

I have very few problems Oanda's connectivity...... of course there is a difference between the demo and the live trade platform.
