this thing doesn't have the power to go down. not only is it approaching oversold state fast, but i also would like to see a close below 207.20 before adding more shorts.

With a starting time of 17:00EST I have 206.83, and with a starting time of 03:00EST (London session start) I show 207.24.

Well I consider it the whole thing, wow u missed 30p but from that lousy tokyo session noone couldnt tell where it would go now. as i said i dont care about little pips at the start and end marks, greed always made me lose.

As I mentioned a sell off my 5m chart I decided to post it - at FO / LO I always drill down to this TF.

The Buy yesterday afternoon was based on the 15 m chart as already posted, with a potential of 120 pips, less spread and slippage.

The much lower SF reading this morning gave a good heads up and my entries are based here on the break of the 34 ema (aqua).

I'm finished for now, but would usually hold part of my position whilst price remains under the falling 34 ema - looking for the fall to get to the DP / 50% retrace as mentioned in my earlier post - TWT

Very true.

I am looking at that myself...

I really do not like how fast we went into oversold on the H1.

i dont see the power for going up either (would like to see a close above .50 for that). and it is not meant to be a big short thing. as mentioned earlier, i expect it to take 15..30 more minutes, and i see potential for 206, if (and only if) we close this 4hr bar (mine lasting 1.5hrs still) below 207.

5715 is 30day stddev +1.0, all we need to achieve is a break of the same stddev average where we are currently, say above 5620. 5660 is midway bounce point.

why i'm not long. i will change my entire view if next week's candle opens above that upper tl of this huge bullish flag. according to Scrat's TL breakout and OB OS thing; weekly price is overbought and the price is not ready for a breakout of that channel. lets wait and see.

i'm still learning that strategy scrat, tell me what u think plz.

S&P futures had just spiked above 5/29 high, that is the line in the sand if the bearish scenario is to hold. Dow is still looking ok, but the fact that the futures on S&P are surpassing the level that shouldn't be breached if we are in a 3rd wave down tells me that there are potential problems with a bearish scenario. That also means that wave 2 most likely did not end on the dow, S&P, etc, and that would mean that the last high on 5/19 on the dow would be most likelly surpassed in order to establish wave 2. If that is the case than in this time span it could have positive implications for the carry, at this point(mid term) I would stay cautiously neutral. If the high made on the 1st was to breach on the daily closing bases that would turn out to be a rather bullish sign for the carry as well. All in all there are some signs emerging that the cycles migh shift. Important dates to watch for next week, Geppy should give a clear reversal signal to the downside on Monday, if that does not happen there would be more evidence of a cycle shift and more upside, 12th should be the highest point this month on the usd/yen, again if there is no clear reversal that day or the next, that would be a bad sign and meant more upside potential. Euro/yen is a bit tricky but, there are some signs that point to the possibility of a spike and a reversal on a monthly bases on that pair. If there is a clear reversal on the 9th or at the most the following day, that would give a lot of confidence of a large fall to last for at least 2 weeks. All in all there are signs of markets at extremes at the moment, it is either abreak it or make it time.
i agree, but it may also indicate a breakout. 2 possible scenarios next week. either a massive fall or actually a "start" of a long lived bull run.
