our mutual broker ib** has been treating sunday open, especially when it gaps more like a news event than anything else for some time now. I used to have screen shots of 15-20 pip spreads for no apparent reason, gap or no gap. They got tossed out with the monthly hard drive garbage.

I'd start over but hey, easier and ultimately better to just change brokers, as in who cares anyway??

And when all else fails, just freeze everything...

I don't use any indicator for trade decision other than for divergence. And divergence is always a leading indicator :-)
Trendline alone is not adequate .. combines it with divergence, you would have a winner .. imo... oppss .. I gave out too much info ..

FXCM new update is so cool. I can overlay UJ (line) onto GJ (candle) and keep track of them at the same time. I know, I know, their spreads suck at times and can't close a trade as quick....

When I have enough capital I will be moving to TradeView (Rosenthal Collins Group)

I have been using the demo on them for a while now as they open an hour earlier and close an hour later then IBFX. They to have variable spreads (Still 12 on GJ as a matter of fact) but they have not locked up, and I think I would rather trust my funds with a much larger firm.

You can also chose to trade in tenths of a pip or 1 pip incriments..

UJ has filled up the gap basically.. due to GBP weakness, looks like GJ doesn't have enough boost to fill it.

weekly and daily candles and momentoms

p.s:in weekly GJ seems undecided(choppy),GU is seems bearish and UJ seems bullish...in daily GJ seems bullish,GU seems bearish and UJ seems bullish...so plus with monthly momentoms if and only if GJ reachs 209 area and not able to break out it i'll take a short position at that area with tp at 200...but if GJ can break 209 area i'll re-evaluate situation and wait to see how far it can go high

oil has made a minor correction to 124.650 (fe 127.2 on the dot) and bounced from there, same patter for the past 3-4 months. i'm spotting a bullich divergence there (before a bearich divergence that formed), i'm expecting the next FE level at 146.xx by the end of this month, with bearich divergence still taking place.

140, then a retraco to 135, then 146, and then a FALL from there back to 90-100 levels. the fall should be gradual and not fast, that's how i'm seeing it. what effect would that have on GJ and the Dow? (still learning the correlation )

If oil falls, GJ should go up, less money spent on gas, so then more people can go out and buy GJ.

divergences never work .. .they suck big time and are always wrong....

i should saythat GU may reach to weekly 5sma low at 1.95 and bounce back from there in this week

also if GJ do'nt reach 209 area before it' drop,i'll take short only if in 4hr chart QQE5 crossed down and price closed below gann.
