lil, would you say down to 1.88 within weeks? also, as an aside, doesn't look as though the steady hand of the BofE (rates on hold said Mervyn) is helping sterling much

this pattern is looking very similar to the one formed on may 1st/2nd...

i believe it will reach there, it could be weeks/months, i don't know.

The W4 retracement range that I have stated is IMO valid - also confirmed by the fibs shown - and as long as the W4 high is under the W1 low it is still valid as a W4.

as what i see on my chart, w1-w3 seem to be in the right direction according to ew rules..its w4 rules that i couldn't get the grasp of..

yep, and the dump from there on the Dow (and all indices) was exceptional: almost as large as the Jan low (i think.

agree. when Nikkei is up, that reads for economy is up then yen should be weakening; strong yen helps nobody except central bank reserves
