One question: is it true that itīs the cheaper ECN in commissions but the platform is harder to trade?, whatīs the minimum deposit?

Well i think you might have any connection problem coz i didnt feel any problem yet with their demo. But maybe on real with FxPro people might have that problem coz i have no experience with Fxpro on real

Maybe you are right but my other brokers were working without problems (even northfinance), but what I saw very strange some weeks ago was when the trading was ending in Friday: suddenly in gbp/chf they made a great spike upwards in more than 50 pips and then again to the same price. Imagine the people with gbp/chf opened.
Itīs strange to see it in demo but I didnīt see it in mbtrading too in those moments.
Anyway, my experience with mt4 brokers are like that and I donīt trust them, they always trade against you, they change the prices, paralize the server, strange spikes, etc.

Yes, the problem with mbtrading or efxgroup is that itīs harder to trade with this platform (navigator) when you only traded with mt4 before, but in some days you are ok with that. Also they are moving to a web based platform (very easy) but it is in a beta version yet.

I have tested hotspotfx platform in demo and itīs very good, the problem is that they offer few pairs to trade in Forex, the minimum is $7500, you can only withdraw $1000 minimum and only if you are in profit, etc. But they offer hedging (mbtrading not, take care if you need hedging...). I donīt need hedging and mbtrading offer a lot of pairs in Forex (maybe all pairs).

You must also know that in mbtrading they test many things in the demo platform from time to time and itīs very different from the live platform. The problems that you see in mbtrading demo are not in live.

Now i think i am seriously thinking about Efx group.
& if you talk about any web based platform than i think Oanda is the best yet among all. Hope so EfxGroups web base platform will be user friendly

Thanks, I have never proved oanda before.

What I would like to know in detail is about interactivebrokers.com Broker (trading, minimum deposit, etc) because the commissions in mbtrading are higher than this one. But if I usually see in mbtrading gbp/jpy with 3-4 pips and the commissions are like 1 pip I am not worried and my trades are anonymous to them (they can not make me stop hunting and other weird things mt4 brokers usually do). I am relaxed trading with them.

They also have a good customer service and Justin Leblang (from efxgroup/mbtrading) also posts in many threads here and in other Forums.

Bluesteel: great to know your opinion, only some question: do they paralize the server from time to time?, because I have seen it even in the fxpro demo account..., can you honestly tell us which strange things have you suffered with them?

I have honestly never had a problem WHILE trading from home or anywhere with a good connection on my laptop. I have experienced poor connections while travelling and yes the server acts up but that is normal for all. Its a connection problem not a platform issue. This has nothing to do with the broker.

I have never encountered any weird price spikes as well. I from time to time compare feeds and dont see any issues.

I really like the ability to trade cfds...Like I said before which is a big reason why I am with fx pro . Interactive Brokers is good too. Never had a problem with them. Basically I was looking for a broker outside of North America with mt4 and some other things sort of why I am now with these guys.

Pardon me... but my citizenship is not your issue. Where in the world do you get that from
