No not really I have been in the NZD for a few weeks and that just how my system called it.

Well we knew it had to break out in one direction or the other. So my GBP short that was up 100+ pips last week ended up getting stopped out. Which I'm sure a lot of you are thinking F#$% that, I would take the 100pips. But I have to stick to my rules cause you never know. It's not how many pips you make today or tomorrow it how many you have in 90days ect.

No worries in last five days I have given back 148pips. I try my best to give some back to the mkt...

Well said Turbo. Too many of us get hypnotized on each single trade....win some, lose less, what matters is that you are positive at the end of the quarter.

Was today a hard day for everyone or was it just me, LOL? I guess it all started to go down hill after the AUD data you see that move. Then I took GBPJPY & EURJPY trains south but they both decided to make a small trip north to stop me off, before continuing to my destination. Then I missed my CHF target by 2pips. But I can't really cry to much cause I still made a few pips (closed EURCAD)

Yup, was a bit of a naff day - similar here where I closed a long standing trade for a few hundred pips which always helps . Anyhow, look at that bottom line figure - plus 117 and YTD plus 665. I think most traders would take that

Well a pretty slow day only 1pip. I got tired of looking at CHF so I flicked it out at 1.2496 after missing 1.2500 by 2 maybe 1 pip yesterday.

Hi Turbo,

What is your main method or system for trading? I know you posted some threads a while back, one on demark...

Also some charts might go alongside the trades quite nicely...

Hope you don't take these requests the wrong way, it's your journal after all!!

I'm wondering if you might be suffering from correlation risk on some of your trades, such as:

Todays Closed trades:
B EURUSD 1.2989 S 1.2952 = -37
B USDCHF 1.2458 S 1.2496 = +38

Both pairs have strong correlation (-90%) with each other. I see correlation risks on other trades you've done, but it looks like you're an experienced, successful pro so what do I know...

Hey mate thanks for the post but I don't worry to much about the correlation that CHF trade was live two maybe even three day before the EUR got triggered

Loosing is all part of the game. My daily pip goal is only 10pips so that's 200pips a month give or take a few. So everything is right on track

If anything i need to adjust my entry and stops by 1pip cause that's how close its been on the last 5 trades, but if its not broke yet i'm not going to try to fix it...lol

Well over all it was good month. I slipped up on two major trades NZD that was 100+ pips only made 10pips and AUDCAD that was over 200+ pips currently +12 . Other than that I can't complain and look forward to Feb.
