Absolutely. The best thing about a good system is having the ability to cherry pick the ideal setups and ignore the ones that just don't quite fit. No need to force it.

It's funny how you can pick up little things from many ideas on FF. I trade a different system than yours (Long timeframe like yours just different entry). But I have added the 89 smoothed lines that you use. They make a great rolling support and resistance indication. I set an alert when I am in a trade to notify me when the price gets close. This lets me watch how it reacts to the 89 smoothed lines. If it moves through, let it run. If it bounces off or stalls I will usually just move the stop closer to protect profits.

With all that said, just wanted to thank you for sharing your information. There will be many others who will benefit from you efforts.

EUR/JPY's rally from 158.60 extended further to as high as 163.86 last week but lacked follow though upside momentum to go further. Friday's retreat, with 4 hours MACD dragged below signal line, suggests that an intraday top is in place. Initial outlook is neutral this week and further pull back could be seen to 4 hours 55 EMA (now at 162.38) and below. Nevertheless, the rise from 158.60 is still in favor to resume as long as 161.25 support holds. Above 163.86 will encourage rise towards upper end of the medium term range between above 164.97 and below 168.93. Though, break of 161.25 will put 158.24 support back into focus.
In the bigger picture, EUR/JPY turned into sideway consolidation after medium term up trend was limited at 168.93. It's unclear whether such consolidation has completed at 151.71 already. Though, note that the corrective three wave structure of the fall from 164.97 and 158.60 argues that it's merely a correction to rise from 151.71. In other words, further rise is in favor. However, sustained break of 158.24 cluster support (50% retracement of 151.71 to 164.97 at 158.34) will argue that rise from 151.71 has completed and such consolidation from 168.93 is still in progress with at least another fall to the lower end of the medium term range before completion.
In the longer term picture, EUR/JPY is still staying inside long term rising channel (support at 156.57). The long term up trend from 88.97 (00 low) is probably still in force. Nevertheless, more choppy trading could be seen with EUR/JPY still staying inside range of 149.27 and 168.93 before firm break above this 168.93 high. Though, on resumption, the long term up trend is expected to target next important cluster resistance at 188.22 (50% retracement of 285.56 (79 high) to 88.97 (00 low) at 187.26). Meanwhile, decisive break of 149.27 low will argue that the whole up trend form 88.97 (00 low) has completed. In such case, much deeper medium term decline would be seen to support zone of 124.15 and 140.92 first.

Hey ole buddy, please stick with this strategy on this thread. Other pairs are no problem, but if you dont have any explanation as to why they fit with this strategy, then it is better left alone. DO NOT confuse the people on this thread by slapping up a chart and saying hi guys is not my way of learning or teaching.

Trades took off where the ended up on Friday after a brief spike to seal the small gap. Still short E/J and G/U is falling into strategy.

I will not be giving out stoplosses anymore nor will I give T/P limits. Everyone has to learn for themselves. We are not a signal service. If you are here to hitch a ride, then leave now. We want only traders here that participate.

I really didnt develope the system, A friend of mine devloped the system and I just altered it a bit. But we will have a nice thread after we weed out all the people who dont want to follow it. Once we have everyone who wants to be on the same page, we will be fine. Example: we had one start posting the weekly and we dont want that in here.

The sure bet trades like Fridays I do on the real account, those that look good with bar patterns or a crossing down when still above the 89 that looks good I test on the demo. When they work out it gives me more confidence in the system and my judgment. If they don’t I analyze them to see where I went wrong.)

This is my 5M view. 89 still showing down. Nice down trend line. Although we have not had lower lows yet from Friday I think it is just because of profit taking and position closing on Friday. I think we will soon have a lower low showing direction for the day. Although we have public holidays in GBP and USA so we might not have a lot of movement today.

Yea, just woke up and figured it would be playing with the 89. This is one you have to just ride out. The pair has flirted with the top of the 89 but has really not broken it to the topside yet. If your stop is in place where it should be, you should be fine. If we get stopped out, well, thats all part of the game.

the pair e/j was struggling to get to 163.30 level ,the level i speciefied to be broken to take long position .

as we all see ,there was a lack of liquidity in the Fx Markets ,there was no sustained momentum to push the pair beyond 163.30 level, the pair tested 163.30 level ,only to retrace back to 163.00 .

now the pair are hovering around 163.30 level trying to break out.

my first target would be 163.70 and if 163.90 is broken i would initiate my long position to my second critical targeted level 164.80 .

E/U is the setup of the day. It has just broken recent res. of 5793 and is knocking at R1 pivot at 5800 right now. If that is broken then last Thursdays high of 5813 is next. after that the skys the limit. There will be no 5750 tonight I dont think, simply because the DPP is at 5770. We should be testing 5793 to see if it holds.

So far today for me only 15 pips. BUT it looks like a triple top on the 5m. I thought it might be a double bottom? but it looks like it might coming down. Needs to break the 89 and test the bottom first. Not much clear direction
