I was just curious. I am able to import and export "expert indicators" but unable to locate a folder for the NON EXPERT indicators. I am missing something or just unclear how these folders are arranged?
Thanks in advance!

DislikedCustom indicators are stored in the indicators folder which is a sub-folder of the experts folder. Program Files/MetaTrader/experts/indicators. This is where you would store all indicators you import. They show up as 'custom indicators' in the navigator.
The code for items in the navigator's 'indicator' window can be viewed and edited using the MQ codebase.Ignored
DislikedThank you for your reply. However, you didn't answer my question. Maybe I was not asking clearly. I am attaching a screen shot of what I am referring to.
I understand about "custom indicators". I don't know where to find the folder called "indicators". If you see my drop down I have a whole set of "custom indicators" and a whole different set of indicators under the folder "indicators".
Please explain how I import and export from "indicators"?
ThanksIgnored
DislikedAh... Now I understand what you're asking. The answer is that you don't. You can only modify or import the 'custom' indicators, the others you don't get to play with.
Maybe if someone tinkered with MetaTrader long enough they'd find a way, but I think the intent is for you to leave the built-in indicators alone.Ignored
