Hell FXCM Slips me all the time, even during normal trading hours.... Crown do slip me as well, so I only trade with limit and stops with them...

i think no problem is with crown its a regulated broker

People, take a look at the header. Looks live to me. If it were a Demo it says demo at Crown. see the screen shot and then see the screen shot of the demo I just opened.

To gutrader, Why do you leave such a large balance in a unsecured account? Also, why are you publishing your account number?

It is just this sort of bullshit that is why no one should ever post their statements. Who the hell cares if others believe them....

Oh really? What is their NFA member number? CFTC registration? FINRA? Please. ARIF is a joke so don't bother mentioning it. Crown gives all new meaning to the term 'bucketshop'.

to answer the question why I dont trade with NFA registered brokers... well I lost a heap with Refco, and look at all the problems american banks etc are having at the moment...

call me what you like I dont give a crap... go back to trading your demo wannabe accounts

Obviously I am just conjecturing here, but I would have thought that somebody wielding that size of account might gravitate toward somewhere with better rates and spreads than a MT4 bucket shop, but hey, who cares I guess...

i agree, i also think it's real account because thats how my real and demo look with my mt-4 broker.

there's a lot of members on this forum who can't believe there's traders making that kind of money trading forex, some get's it and some cry about it and daydream about it and some just don't know what the hell is going on if you can't make money from trading forex then get the hell out the game looser,

I have tried to open accounts with banks/prime brokers... but I was told that I dont have enough $$ and get put in their retail section where they have crap spreads crap leverage and crap swaps.... I trade with > 1 mill and trade on behalf of clients (have a registered fund in Australia) so if anyone can suggest a bank that will have me that has the same advantages I have at the moment then I'm all ears....

A big reason I have dont use American brokers is because of TAX.... I live in AUST where the highest tax bracket is 47% !!! would you want to pay 47% of over 500K in profits to tax.... didnt think so...

I have never used a broker in the US where they made me pay taxes!!! I pay them on my own.

The above poster is correct. The forex is kind of the wild west of trading and the brokers do not report anything to the IRS. So it is up to you to tell them what you earned/didn't earn.

Hi Moe, congratulations for your opinion.
I’m only 2 month in Forex and I came to it by a friend that lives actually in USA. He works for a broker and also trades by himself. He’s a mathematic genius and once a while we trade together using Internet conversation, last time in 9 trades we had a total of 54 pips in less than half an hour, all positive trades.
I do work just with a 1k live account because I found out that using a demo has nothing to do with real trading because of the emotional influence. Also I see this account as a cheap forex course winning and loosing and learning from mistakes. May be after a year or more I will raise the amount but actually I’m not always sure of my positions.
I wonder that someone doesn’t believe that there is a trader that works with a more than 600k account doing good job. I know from my friend that there are plenty of them and he told me that if you’re not having at least 10k you will not be able to live from this business.
To Gutrader: Keep going on and don’t give to much on what others say, just do your work. I know that you have a lot of sleepiness nights al time long ‘cause you’re managing money that isn’t yours as well. You have all my respect and I hope that some times in the future I will come to something closed.
To the general question of this thread, crownforex, I can’t give my opinion, I work with Fxsolutions and I’m happy with the 3 pips spread cause I’m scalping and they don’t have any problems with that ‘till now.

I wish a lot of pips to everyone, maybe one time in the future we have also an account like Gutrader, but it’s hard work.

well ages ago I post message about how I was going to visit crown in swiss.. and well I'm back from my visit. Went to their office, met the directors, account staff etc... I guess it doesnt relaly matter what I post here and someone somewhere isnt going to believe me.... so if you want to know something about crown PM me and I'll answer...
