Whadsup....hic.....as that short that I took whilst I was checking out the pub was a winner, so I had to buy everyone a round and that led to another.....and then I was flat - aka horizontal - for a few hours.....zzzzzz.....now up, been long and now flat again......these tight range days shure are hard work - and its 12 hours before I can mention that pub word again......

But you are right trade what you see.

what you fail to understand is that GJ has different levels of retracement, go check your charts for hours and tell me what you see,

on a big fall GJ retraces 150pips and above
on a medium fall GJ retraces 50-100pips
on a small fall 30-60pips

some times it dosent need sa fall to go back up, if it tries to break a support and it dosnt in an hour or 4hrs expect it to go back up tobuild more strenght for a retest. its

No offence but thanks for stating the completely obvious.

Retracements are caused by profit taking from profitable moves. However what we are seeing here (and have been for days) is the lack of direction common from being stuck within a range bouncing between trendlines and support resistance. This is completely different to retracements and should be traded as such. Experience bro.

My point was that there is no justification for a retracement trade of up to 100 pips. Yes it may be a trade of its own basis for that much....but otherwise...
I dont mean to sound snarky but I have plenty of experience and i know what im talking about. Good luck again

Half an hour ago at the Frankfurt Open, UJ was moving slowly up and taking GJ with it - I was long. Then the Swissy started to drop hard and UJ had to follow - although more slowly. I guess that the Swissy is setting up for its news at 3:15 EDT - 35 mins time - and that's pulled UJ down and hence GJ follows

I was stopped out of my long for +8 and will now wait for the London Open and Swissy news....

Just 17 pips north of it, at the moment.
