HI Dmac

When short your price on the market is always calculated at the ask price; accordingly when you are short the correct price to be looking at is the ask price not the bid, which went over your stop loss (also calculated at ask price when short). The opposite is true for buy orders.

Otherwise you would never end up paying spread (in at the bid price out at the ask price).

I understand completely. It still doesn't explain why I was stopped out 1 pip lower than the order was set for.

I'm sorry if this has been said, but if the chart shows 203.65 then (By your accounts the spread was 4) then the price for your stop was hit because the Sell price would have been 203.69.

I think this is one of the effect of gas and oil price being so high ... this thing has turned of the engine and stopped moving ... until oil price falls again

This is absolutely rediculous. I can't take it anymore. I'm goin to sleep. I'll have to wait for the next trade. At this point, I don't even know what to do with this anymore. The way i'ts been ranging. I'm afraid to trade a breakout and as far as trying to scalp, the range is too small now for me.
