Well.....jumping into trading TL's. Thought I would take a Short Limit Order at 205.20 with a 50 pip S/L and see what happens.

You can take the daily open PROVIDING the last prior swing hi/lo is not so far away, but take that prior hi/lo to the opening swing hi/lo for the daily open and project it a minimum of 100%-162% but can be anything over that. the least i have seen in a while is 87.5%.

well you're not missing much. 203.82 seems to be holding again, That's the third 1hr touch since Friday afternoon. What I'm interested in is that spike we had...Any ideas?

there was some news release though. good data. cable's going up. i was waiting on the sucker to go down a bit before i buy some. darn

daily 5sma at 203.89 we should be heading there (10 more pip up) before any movement downward. just in case i miss out on an obvious reversal, i'm going to lock in some pips at this spike's low (pussy right?)

on the other hand, the lower tl of our good ole channel is in confluence with daily gann and daily 50ema at 204.78. it shouldn't be scary to place a sell limit right there right? ok ok, i will (Actually just did). i'll also place my sl at 205.25 (10 pips above april 4th's high) just in case. 205.14 should be major resistance at the meantime (provided if the price reaches there). i still think the resistance i set since friday at 204.40 should stand in the way big time. i won't place an order there, i already have one at 204.30 which is good so far.

UK - Rightmove data:Asking price for houses in May +1.2% M/M, +2.2% Yr/Yr from 1.3%

Reckon that news will be short lived, the worst is to filter through yet as the market in reality has ground to a halt over here.

i had a nightmare last night. i had 10% of my account in a short trade with no stop loss, and woke up to find a nice gap with opening price at 251

Funny you mention that, because I had a dream in which everyone else made millions simply by following the opposite of my trades. As I was making no money at this myself, I decided to charge for my "Just do the opposite to me" trades and ended up making a loss when the trades decided to go my way after my account was blown....Don't you just love forex?
