good german broker?

Hi,

I read some threads but actually, i didnt find any hints for a good broker in germany... I tried to open a small account on activtrades, but they didnt respond for a week, and that twice... Well, i dont necessarilly need a broker that supports mt4 but it wouldnt be that bad either... I know that Oanda is kinda interesting with low spreads, but i've seen too many cases with strange peaks in price movements, although i didnt experienced them in my demo-account on marketindex...

Well, are their any alternatives you can offer me??

I want to start with a small account and a low risk per trade first to get a feeling for real money. The systems seems to be profitable so far, but wanna do next step on live-trading.

I can recommend (and have live account with no problems):

Oanda
MarketIndex (Oanda Platform)
Alpari UK (MT4)

Avoid CMC.

BTW: I haven't any problems with Oanda. There are rarely spikes there but there was always a rollback in the past if the spike was a wrong one.

Oh yes, but what's really funny with them, that you can only open an USD account. At least that's my last information.

I think they were headquartered in the UK, not in Germany, despite belonging to Deutsche Bank.

To date I haven't seen a German broker that can really compete with brokers from the US or UK in terms of commissions, spreads and trading platforms.

There are not that many Germans who actively trade and the few who do are well informed and chose international brokers.

To make it in his business, a German broker would have to accept clients from all over the world, and consequently, to run the business, would have to hire English speaking staff which simply doesn't exist.
