Would you mind posting your CZI indicator-as the one I had originally from FX Sniper is now no longer valid.
Visually at least, I think there is some merit in using a combo of Woodies CCI's patterns and the 'signals' from VP. Nothing factual to post about it, just a 'feeling in my water' so to speak!
I must get back to reading those tealeaves!!
Many thanks

DislikedHi All: I am a newbie forex trader. I am also new to this forum. I have been doing some due diligrnce on the VantagePoint software. Other forums have directed me here because they said that users here were having good results.
My question is it an appropriate software for a new trader or for someone with experience?
I would appreciate any comments or suggestions.
Thanks

DislikedHas anyone had a similar problem with VP 7.0?
All Forex pairs will chart and show the history etc., except USDJPY.
USDJPY will chart in UA 2.9.3
I get an error notice of a displacement by -4. On the advice of Rudi from UA I refreshed the price history for that particular pair. No change in VP.
George from VP has no answer.
Rudi now suggests, as a last resort, "to delete the CSI70 folder using
Windows Explorer.
Relaunch UA and select Portfolio/Rewrite Files immediately.
This will rebuild the entire data directory so Vantage Point software
can reread the files."
Suggestions please.Ignored
DislikedHowdy all,
Not satisfied with making unbelievable amount of pips with the method I was already using, I started backtesing a very simple system of just using the Neural Index alone. So when I recieved a signal of "1" I went Long and when I recieved a "0" I went short. The way I tested is taking the open price of the next candle of course and taking the MAX value price it went in my favor before getting a opposite signal. The results were very surprising. I back tested from 1/06- last week.
The EurJpy using NI had a 65% win ratio while the "4 out of 5" method had a 72% win ratio BUT the NI method had 41 trades over 100pips while the "4 out of 5" method had 25 trades over 100pips
The GbpUsd MA cross method had an 81% win ratio and the NI method had a 62% BUT the MA cross method had only 23 trades over 100pips while using the NI method had 39 trades over 100pips
Very interesting (as Henry Gibson used to say)
I will be back testing more crosses but for now its SUPER BOWL time
