DislikedDo you agree that you might have to make a higher percentage when you first get started?? Let's say you start out with 1K, and you double it first week, then next week, you make 30%, then next week you make 25%, ect.. Well sure if you lose the first 1K, you may have to find another K, but , most people that want to be a forex trader, don't have a lot of money. I don't think this is just a job for people that are already wealthy...Ignored
DislikedThe point i am making, much like Que explained so nicely, one needs to crawl first. Leverage is great when your on the right side, not so pretty when on wrong side. and to do what you just expalined above you have too much of your neck on the line at any one time. Probabilities say over time you will be consumed. Dont forget you are playing against the most brilliant minds in the world here. There is a reason why 95% of all traders are paying the 5%'s mortgages yatchs summer cottages. is all. one must be realistic or be humbled. its as simple as that.Ignored
DislikedI don't plan on making a living off of my trading account for a long time. I am an engineer in the Bay Area. I make enough money to live on while I build my account.
Yes I want to get to the point where I can live on my Forex earnings, but I am not going to throw away money getting there. I am 30 years old and plan on living off of Forex by 40 years old.
I am sorry to tell you, but very few people have the ability to deposit $50,000 - $100,000 while instantly mastering Forex. You need to Crawl / Walk / Run.
I am not one who is willing to risk my families future before having a very good history at trading first.Ignored
Dislikedit was clear that he mentioned 300$ to START with. i agree with all que is saying and i think, it's the best way. i'm sorry i never got to read his notes on my first 10k that i blew up.
thanks que, lots of valuable info.
but sorry, i really had to laugh at the first few (if this, than u'r full of shit) points u had. i had to point out what i was laughing at. sorry.Ignored
DislikedNo but he is saying forex is like every other job in the world.
In the world of Forex, if you have been trading under a year or two I would think you are akin to a 16 year old.
I do not mean that bad, let me explain.
In the "Real World" you need Education first, Then Job Experiance, Then and only then will you start making money in your job.
I have been in my current career for 12 years. I joined the Army at 18 and have worked my way up to being the Lead Projects Manager at a very large engineering firm.
Now there is no way in hell I would have earned the amount of money I am now at 16 without the experiance I have. The same goes for forex. Why do people think they are going to just start a new "career" and imediatly make $100,000 a year with no education or experiance to back them up?Ignored
