DislikedI am thinking much more conservatively. $5000 deposit, 5% a month 10 years.Ignored
DislikedBut I think it could be a little bit quicker ... we say 5 millions in 5 months starting with just $200
You don't believe me ? I think everyone agrees with me that an average of 100 - 120 pips per day is possible with GJ if you trade full time. Then if you follow this simple formula as your MM, you see it is possible to do that in 5 months not in 5 years.
Capital / 10000 = trade size
i.e $200 / 10000 = 0.02 lots
$1000 / 10000 = 0.1 lots

Dislikedi guess. but that's way too conservative for me. like i said. i have a 150 pip target every day utilizing 1% (sometimes less, especially if target was reached and i see good entries) for each trade. that's 3000 pips a month (20 day period) which makes 30% profit on my account.
it's not as hard as u think, yes time consuming, but that's what i do for a living. there were lots of months when i made 50% and more. the worst i had was at 5%. this year's average is 37% so far. so i'm good i guess.
and like i said, i really don't think i'm over trading. i'll give u an example. if i made 35% last month, i risk the entire 15% extra i made with a trade that i think will make really good profit, if not, then my 20% of last month was intact, and i'm still on the good side.
i don't think that sounds very risky to me. it's just a matter of how u interpret risk or conservatism.Ignored

DislikedNot blowing off what you said, as if you can do it, more power to you.
However if you folow the money management link in my signature, you will see I do know how to calculate money management and risk.
Also note this post please as pips mean nothing to me. It is all about %. Tell me what % you made today, not how many pips....

DislikedAlso note, this is NOT good Money Management. You can not employ proper money management WITHOUT having a defined stop value. As you do not mention a stop, nor is it used in your calculation anywhere, I would not suggest using this.
I just wanted that to be clear to any newcomemrs on this forum.Ignored
