I still don't know why i'm unable to connect to my live and also to the demo server with fxcm mt4, do it work with you?

they confirmed that the server is down hope it back online soon.

I love how FXCM advertises that you can "trade the news" with their firm yet I have not been filled on a news trade with FXCM in over 8 months.

Today I tried trading the Retail Sales news report on MT4 and got this error message pop up:

"Common Error"

Thats a new one for me.

I have never traded with them, however, I can honestly say I have never heard a good thing.

I used to listen to someone in Florida who has an "Internet Radio Program" about Forex, and who was also an IB for FXCM. I remember several times during the shows his FXCM platform would go down for no apparent reason.

Great advertising for them, to say the least!

What? WTF is a "Common Error"? How many different errors (i.e. excuses) does MT4 have integrated into it's system?

Depending on if the error is actually on your computer, or if it's an error on the brokers end, a couple.

Though I can say I've never heard that one either. Maybe this new build gave them more errors?
