How many forex millionaires are dishing out advice on this forum? I think that it is a prerequisite for anyone who wants to learn about forex to know what the nett worth of the so-called experts who give advice, are.

If this cannot be done, it is tantamount to a doctor who tells me that he has done 10 000 abortions but he is qualified to handle the birth of my child.

Well technically, you'd be taking advice from multiple "so called doctors" in order for you to facilitate the birth yourself. Investing interest into one party is your own choice..

Just as using this forum which is nomore than a resource amoung many.
No one "owes" you anything in life.

We have some accomplished traders on this forum. In fact some have achieved a certain level of fame. Like Roland Campbell.

Someday you'll be at a stage where you can tell the skilled from the not so skilled by what they offer, rather than by knowing their net worth.

Once someone reaches a certain level of success, they may be willing to share their knowledge but may not feel compelled to prove their accomplishments to an aggressive newb. They may feel that anyone serious about this should be able to seperate the wheat from the chaff. If someone isn't at the level of knowing the good from the bad without knowing someone's net worth, then the accomplished trader will feel he is merely casting his pearls among the swine and won't waste his or her time.

If you knew someone's net worth, what would that figure have to be before you would consider their advice to be sound? Would a person who had 5 million dollars be sharper than someone with 1 mil? Maybe the guy with 5 mil started with 10 mil and the guy with one mil started with almost nothing. And how would you know if they were being truthful?

You need to learn enough to be able to know the good stuff from the bad based on its content--not by what you think the author's net worth is.

There are plenty of "Forex Millionaires" to be found on the net. They are all selling systems. You can be the next one for just $399!

Theres a saying, those that can do, those that can't teach. This is not supposed to be disrespectful of any one on this forum, it is just saying that just because people may not be succesful (yet), does not mean that they do not have good information to give.

I have learnt so much more than I could have imagined in the last few months. 90% of this is stored at the back of my mind for future possible use, but the 10 % that I have kept, I am going to use to trade live now.

I think I first mis-read your quote Henry and having re-read it I think we agree within your illustration. If I were considering a doctor to handle the birth of my child I would seek one who has a history of birthing them ... not aborting them.

However, I have found great value through this board as it is a tool to help people at all levels. It's been my experience that respectful input on the topics yields helpful responses. Much like someone developing their tennis game only needs to play someone slightly better than them to learn from the experience, many of us are appreciative of those who are even "slightly better than us" who help us to the next step. Even the best doctors went to medical school.

Lastly perhaps we should all be reminded that there are no guarantees with this forex market, except for the opportunity to dream and use a tool that (perhaps) will help us reach that dream.

May your dreams come true...
