I am currently back to break even on Delight on FXDD.

If it crashes, to bad, all the accumulated data is lost, it like restarting again. The good news is, it still will monitor your existing trades until completion of the trade. I understand this is a problem i have to tackle in the next rev. how to keep the data even if it crashes. This is a big task.

My test results... I shut down my computer last night because of scheduled power outage for upgrading aging infrastructure that lasted most of the day in my area so all my demos of these EA's are screwed up now.

Its good to see the EA's made comeback which my demos unfortunately missed. Max dd was somewhere over 900 pips last night for me on alpari for UltimateTrader and for Tdelight. Tbest after initial hit was making slow come back. I noticed that only Tbest went thru the learning phase at the beggining of the week. Also UltimateTrader was most of the time suffering from slightly smaller realized losses and much smaller unrealized losses than TraderDelight.

Well, I did read the whole thread, even twice, so you are writing things that you do not know about. You only think that you know, and that is a dangerous attitude.
My only concern was - and is - that a so high leverage would blow up the account when encountering a severe drawdown. I think there is nothing wrong with that i dea and I still think it is an important issue, strongly related to the threads subject. But for now, I let it rest for some members already had the kindness to explain it to me in a pm. In no way I am a rooky and in no way I was trying to be a pain in the ass. I realy like the EAs and will post my results to contribute in the making of.

what's so cool about t101 is, it's not so hard for him to admit it when he makes a mistake (i think that's the same attitude he applies when improving the EA, that's why it's so great).

i hope you guys are now in better terms.

Once a day MIG undergoes a dailyroutine sytem update. This takes about 1 minute. During this time Metatrader has no connection to the broker.
Do you think that this is a problem?

That is the same thing that IBFx is doing every 6:00 PM but as long as the EA is stilll attached to the chart, data is still collected. Although at that time tha data is zero. Normally those 0 data will be discarded during the analysis. The neural part of the program that collect data will in the future dump all these data collected to the trader computer and make it accessible to the program should it need it. That way we can avoid this learning time of the program , that where we encountered the losses most of the time.

It would be a nice feature. Perhaps write the variables to a file every minute and if the file exists the EA would load it when it starts?

I've finally broke even today with FXDD Delight. Open trades are at a positive right now. Hopefully I'll have some small gains at the end of the week. I'm now confident that EA can recover from huge losses fairly quickly so that's quite a relief.

are we planning on using the PC to save more data, if so do we need more PC power and storage space? will the files be easy to delete to limit the impact on PC speed? and finally, is this info not already on the chart so the EA just needs to read past info?

not sure i understand the idea.

Data will not be much to a computer to a human its voluminous..LOL
It delete old data as new data come in.

I keep reading that Delight is already breaking even..including mine as well. As i was saying basing on my trading style.. i like the delight, not so fast, selective in trade but sometimes boring....

Sorry, folks for the confusion. The EA that i am talking about is the future revision not the one that is in your position. The revision you are currently using is a simple Support and Resistance EA. This EA (Delight & ultimate) will not trade in the current trend. It will only trade in the next trend. That is why you have to wait for sometimes for it to trade. So if you turn off you computer or you remove and reattached the EA, it will do the same process again. Current trend when you open is ignored and waiting for the next trend to start. Thats how simple is the entry of the current EA you have.
