So is Vegas still in the biz? is this thread still valid? seems kind of fishy..... I wanted more info from Vegas but the email [email protected] doesn't accept my mail.....

I do not think he is still in business. Vegas originally posted some good information here on FF. Read and use that information. At this point I would recommend against sending any money to any business Vegas is associated with.

You know how you could tell? When people asked him about backtesting and performance reports he dismissed it as not useful. He said forward testing is the only way to go.

That is the biggest crock I have ever heard. How is backtesting not useful if you consider forward testing useful??

What is the difference if I were to forward test for one year starting from 2007, versus back test one year from 2008?

Well said, Vegas was the shizzle around here when I joined, everybody was smoking his Johnson over what was effectively a load of bollocks.
When systems get their own sites, you know the shark is well and truly jumped.

You can't imagine How many traders with large account are reading your posts and loughing.
Unfortunately for you critics moode, in james 16 Vegas is just one of the starting system, his unwanted result was just to put part of the seed to create the group.
I'm not directly involved but I like to write this just because I was a testimony of that event.
Open your mind and take from this forum what is the real gold, James group as many others.
At the end what all of us must be reconize is that FF is a trading web site free but very usefull for beginners and specialized traders, with some good people and some others not.
With my experience I can say thet Vegas and James 16 group are not with the second people.

As far as the way they do business, I would say they are total opposites. Jim is a good honest guy. After subscribing to his paid group for a while. It is now free for me. He has always answered emails I send him.

Vegas took money from people, did not provide service and quit responding to emails and disappeared. As I said before never send money to any business Vegas is associated with.

I second this opinion. I've been with the James group now for just under a year and have found Jim and the team to be the most help and straight up honest teams on the net, great support with emails and questions answered as soon as possible.

Funny thing is I was going to say how others have fished people in with their selling tactics on this forum, the sole purpose of getting their money, I was going to praise vegas for not doing this, for really giving out a complete system that worked not just bits and pieces, just enough to entice. Then he runs with the money.

I hope you guys got your money back from those responsible, all the owners.
I am glad I saw this, it has changed my mind on how I will do business, for sure.

i didn't expect the story to end like this... it was like reading a book.. i have been reading various Vegas posts for a little while and wondered what happened to him..

does anyone one actually know what happened to him? did anyone get any of the Part 3 or was the entire Part 3 a scam?
