this week i will be running

MT4 Delight with MAcrossover signal and Entrex-hi
MIG Ultimate with MAcrossover signal and Entrex-hi

i will produce the charts as the week goes on to show graphically which option may improve our exits if any. will start on sunday night open so i have a full 5 days comparison so everyone can review it against there charts.

below shows the current setup, arrows pointing up and down are the MA cross and the red/blue line is the entrex-hi, arrow from the EA will point left and right when trades are taken. vertical dotted lines are 24hr periods

The entrex chart is very intriguing. If you look closely at the entrex indicator, if the price start touching the higher or the lower line then the price reverses its moves.

Not sure what runs the entrex, is it a lagin indictor like an MA, so it may give us this impression, i also see that some times price heads past the line to the outside, if we added the Entrex into the EA how would it trade during these times, i think it would confuse things as the EA would have the info to go long after the intial trade closes out on the touch of the entrx line, but price will be on the wrong side of the line for it to enter again?? some thought needed here. sometimes things are better left alone!!!

it will be interesting to see where the EA places the trades amongst these charts.

so basically, the ea shd be attached to a pair thats not one of the pairs i want closed

These SCRIPTs may work better. The script that comes with MT4 often doesn't work, as I experienced. Try these if you experience the same.

Make sure these scripts are stored in the script folder, not in the EA folder.

Just double click on it as it appears (stored) in the Navigator window and it will start doing the job and reports that the job is done.

As T101 says, put smilies OFF first, then use the script. Hope this helps. RS

Very similar to envelop indicator, very hard to determine because it is an .ex4 file, i cant see the code.

Hello Trader101. Im zomg from your TSD thread. I ended up going thru this entire thread after being intrigued by your EA. Quite an adventure and results with your trading that i missed.

I ran Ultimate v2 last week and it had excelent results. $3000 starting balance went to around $4000 at one point with equity very close. Balance and equity were flactuating a lot during the week. Week ended with balance of about $3500 and equity about $55 below that. My original plan was to keep the EA, trades and computer on over the weekend and see how it will behave but unfortunately there was a long power outage in my area and my computer got shut down.

Clearly this EA has lots of potential and is definitely very fun to watch with lots of action and trades. However, i also fear that usually fast and furious profit EAs are just as prone to blow up in your face as well. This might not be the case with your EA's because it is not martingale style and it does appear to have safety nets.

Also if the EA can be anywhere this profitable on consistant basis on LIVE accounts, then im afraid it will get attention of the brokers. I don't care what anybody sais about MT4 brokers making money from spreads. It has been stated more than enough times that MT4 brokers in most cases are the counterparty to their clients trades. Therefore they win when their clients lose and vice versa. No MT4 broker will let you make this kind of money off them as this would come out of their pockets. Some even say that its also the case with STP MT4 brokers, but who knows.

This brings me to one option that i think would help deal with that a little, and has been mentioned here earlier. Overall pip or $ target for each trading session(for me session would be week, for others might be something else) that when hit would take profit, close all trades and stop all trading by the EA untill reset by the user. It could be set by the user to something resonable that might have a chance of staying under broker's radar. Getting $400 a week on $3000 deposit vs gaining $900 is quite a difference but both are excelent profits just using 0.1 lots. No need for more imho unless we can find an MT4 broker that actually doesn't care how much money his clients make. I would take $300-500 a week on that deposit any day and be happy and maybe woudl be able to keep brokers off my back. Then eventually have 2-3 accounts with different brokers... you get the point. Some might set it to more if they aren't afraid of getting brokers attention, or not use it at all and let the EA run freely. Overall i think this would be safe way of locking in profits every week, again assuming EA can be even half as profitable as it was at highest point last week.

I will close some of my other tests to demo your new versions v3 and v3 with TS this week of all 3 EA's althou i think v2 was already a monster that just needed to be tamed slightly. Thanks again, great job.

Interesting perspective. I don't know what you think brokers will do - close your trades if you make too much money? I'm sure that many brokers, especially the large ones, have clients who trade millions of dollars at a time, with 100-1000 lots. Why would they care about us, when most of are starting with 0.1 lots. (Of course, it will quickly increase from there).

I have never come across solid evidence that brokers purposely wish their clients to fail - lots of rumors, anecdotes, etc - but no undeniable proof.

this will be the third full week running this EA nonstop with no user intervention.

so far both the ultimate2 and tradersdelight2 still show profit although both are down from the first week.

I will post results after a month running alone.

Slippages, stop hunting, requotes, delaying executions or not executing them at all, widening spreads, filtering and manipulating feeds, etc. This is not what i think they will do, this is what they do. You consider ODL a big broker? You think you will be able to make more than a 100% per month? Try it, and monitor executions of your trades, and see what happens. One thing is when your system stops working, another is when things mentioned above start happening. There is pleanty of discussions, proof, experiences on FF and esp on TSD and other forums to consider this just rumors. I know few people whom i do trust, who had personal experiences with their very profitable EA's making too much profit for their brokers liking. Everything is ok at first, then when money starts coming in, all the sudden problems start. Why do you think most EA's work worse on IBFX than on some other brokers? Manipulation.

Once you realize and listen to reputable and experienced traders that most MT4 brokers are counterparty to many/most of their clients trades, its not hard to realize why would they do that. In that situation they make money when you lose. Most brokers do that, no way anybody can just discard this by naming everyting rumors etc.

Alpari so far seems to be most neutral from the big brokers. Apparently Activtrades is pretty good too. Not sure how the STP brokers like TVFX, FXCM(they are working on MT4 connection) and ATC are treating very profitable traders. They claim to have STP to mutliple banks/liquidity providers for all their clients trades, so in theory maybe only the banks should have problems with these traders. Not sure, don't have a very profitable account with them nor do i know anyone with one either.

Btw, if you are trading 100-1000 lots you are most likely trading on ECN or on institutional account that gets direct shot in the market. Thats little different than trading 0.1 lots in the "bucket".

In the end im done with this subject, im not here to have a broker dicussion. I would rather concentrate on the testing and discussing trader101's quite interesting EAs.

I can tell all this is true from experience

I now trade on a private MT4 platform with a currenex feed that does not take outside money, my friend is the owner, broker. I no longer have those problems that plaque everyone else. execution is unbelievable, slippage unheard of and never seen a spike.

BTW i wated to make correction to my ending results for last week posted earlier. Account closed at about $3640 and equity at about $3580+. I also ran my test on 13 pairs(didn't put it on NZDUSD for some reason) My mistake.

I never ask him how much it cost but it really is not that much money for what it gives you.........click BAM its there, never a requote, try trading news with no requotes and instant execution THIS is how you make money in forex.........it helps that a friend own it too so no commish

Too bad I am with IBFx maybe they start blacklisting me, because i ahve been making money consistently for the past 2 months and already double my account. I already incountered slippages, last week about 10 winning trades. I have revised the program to cater fot his slippages. I should really geared the program to be adaptive. Basing on your warning what are our options then???

Im sure Tmac can answer that question better as he is much more experienced than myslef. Not sure what is each broker's threshold for how much are they willing to lose to a trader. Every MT4 broker is different based on their greed and ethics and how much they actually go into the market instead of just keeping trades in inhouse bucket where they trade against you. Seems most big brokers like IBFX or ODL will just mainly limit how much money you can make, so it might not be such a big deal. As long as they don't shut down your account, and you still make great money it should still be ok. Others like FXopen can be alot more viscious about it.

As mentioned earlier, Alpari seems to be better than most and seems that they don't care that much how much you make. NF appear to be decent as well. FXDD i have heard mixed things about, but i did see some pretty profitable live statements from them before.

I have heard Brokers such as TVFX or FXCM or ATC claim to have STP or ECN executions. Seems that they would be little better than regulra MT4 brokers for profitable trading althou, publictly available STP/ECN MT4s such as these are still somewhat new and not too many people have experience with them. Many EAs have to be reworked for their 5 digit quotes also, so that makes it little harder to try some of them out. In theory they should be better as they should have just neutral trade executions to the market/banks.

Once live, we can try how much each broker can take and when do they start messing with us.

One way i would go about staying under brokers radar if you don't trust them or find out they mess with you is to take resonable fixed profit for a week like I mentioned in earlier post. Once in decent profit, open another account or 2 with another broker or 2 and continue to get reasonable profits from them. I already see you have lots of loops to make sure trades get executed when in error and you adjusted for slippage situation too.

Another thing with your EA is that it does have fairly big TPs so hopefully requotes and slippages are not going to be destructive as they can be with more of scalper EA's.

Once you are ready to realease your EA's for live trading, we can compare live results and see how different brokers handle us making money lol For now lets continue testing and development on demos. I think EA's can be improved still just not by much as they appear to be very powerfull so far already.

Also i forgot to mention that i started to notice that IBFX has become better over past few months. Seems they manipulate trades less than they used to and some traders are reporting better profits. I remeber awhile back i received email from them stating they added more liquidity providers and they they apprantly have STP. Can't remeber for sure as I don't have that email anymore.

Thanks .. I am doing this live for more than 3 months already. started 3000 now about 11,000 already, you might not believe me not a single week i lost.

Wow, if it was with IBFX, then like i said in my last post, they might have turned things around and might be a decent broker now. I might consider them again. Btw, those results were with EAs and your manual trading as well? Very imressive.
