Here is a chart,where the 123 pattern was utilised on a 15min tf,after checking the trend setup for today > short on the g/u,all i needed to do was to wait for 123 pattern.Thanks Harold,and please correct me,if i made any mistake/s.cheers.

the gbpusd was up but never the less the 123 was ok where price made the high to the left would have been my #1 point

A look at the chart below establishes a downtrend for 01/05/08,according to the rules stated above,the ema's crossed while Rsi was below 50 at the end of the daily candle.Or is there something that i am missing here ???

I don't know how big the "Childrens Day" is in Japan but the thing is England is a bank holiday. guess it could have an effect on trading.

demmy, I do expect lower volume & volatility, but I try to never be "sure" of anything. That's what I was trying to imply by saying 'guess'. But, thanks for the reply, it's good to be alert.

It's a very slow day so far. Here is a GBP short trade for +30 pips. Daily is down. We have a 123 going short. I got in a little early because we had a nice rejection of the support becomes resistance line (green line). The market is very slow so I took my pips and I'm calling it a day.
