Overcoming short-term fluctuations with large orders

What would be the best method to overcome short-term market fluctuations and trade with higher leverage over the long term trend, without getting stoped out?

The only way to avoid getting stopped out is to loosen your stop loss to a point where you won't get stopped out. Of course larger stop losses mean more risk, so you have to size down your initial position.

If you're looking to position trade an easy solution is to enter in stages, only added to the position when your previous SL is past BE. Net risk is then per-entry rather than on your complete position. Of course you'll be dealing with really big SLs for that, small swings will come and go.
