Hi,

can anyone explain me, what is better trading with GBP/CHF or GBP/JPY.
I saw today GBP/CHF already moved 200 pips but GBP/JPY less than 100 pips.

Spread is same by me 7 pips ....

Here's the way I see it using this thread's system:-

Weekly Chart

Zero MACD crossed 1 tick above 0
Zero Stochs crossing and just above 25
QQE crossed and pointing North

ALL THE ABOVE + PRICE ACTION = BULLISH

What do you think looking at this chart? By the way I could be wrong..just MHO

dogol by asking that ? i would say your should play euro, for those 2 are a ride on volatile and wild, each in their own time, no disrespect, FX is the lions den to begin with and these 2 are like jumping in a ring with raptures, can really consume ones account if not fully prepared

As stated yesterday. . . ADP suggest that NFP will be in line with expectation. The market is looking to the future, they know what happened in the past but things are being put in place to rectify that situation. Will we have bumps and bruises on the way, absolutely but hopefully things will get better as the GDP suggested as well. . .

thanks for the answer ... I already had demo account (just 1 week) but more than 100% performance (I'm newbie)

but I need more experiece trader who can give me advice the advantages or disadvantages from GBP/JPY and GBP/CHF ....

IMO ... GBP/CHF moves same like GBP/JPY but less volatility ....

Tis working really well...It's been very hard to trade what the system says and NOT what you think you see though - but I'm getting there...I'm really pleased I found this thread and all the advice you guys have given me. Yes i understand, and not trying to discourage, wisdom in trading is only gained by doing, falling on face brushing off and learning all about self. 85% of trading is about ones psychology/self mastery. Demo just cannot provide them skills in the real world sorry. Risk management, trade management, money management, Emotional outbreaks, panic fear of winning fear of lossing pulling the trigger LOL just a cpl off the top of my head

You are right, because they are both European currencies. (More often someone need Pounds or Francs in Europe, and not Yen) GBP/CHF, EUR/CHF are easier to trade for newbies. Sometimes GBP/JPY move more, this month not. Look at CHF/JPY and you will see why.

any account that doubles in a week is likely to be wiped out sooner rather than later. My advice - read all the stuff on money management you can find.

Just make sure you have your SL in place because I see some slight downward pressure right now. . . Can always re-enter. . .
