Status of SNF01 trades :

P = + 180 (20 TP x 9 pairs)
L = - 80 (-40 SL x 2 pairs)

Net P/L = + 100 (a handsome one)

There is one order still pending ie SELL GBPUSD at 1.9717 BUT because of the 'timing' I have to Remove the Pending Order.

Now, this SET and Forget System has proven to be EXCELLENT trading system so far (it is effortless, NO STARRING ON THE SCREEN, NO EMOTION, this is what I like about SET AND FORGET SYSTEM - the system that I have searched since started forex trading - I have tested 3 times already since starting of this journal, while testing other trading systems, so far, based on this journal -

Test#1 - Profit = + 120 pips (160408)
Test#2 - Profit = - 20 pips (180408)
Test#3 - Profit = + 100 pips (this is today - 300408)

The Orders are Set Daily at 8-9 am (GMT+8) Daily and should be closed by 9pm or before 12am (GMT+8). If orders are pending, during 9pm onwards closed the order. That is the rule. Will continue trading using this sytem till end of the week and next week (probably) before going LIVE.

Current status of manual trades just now :

The manual trades just now, both USDJPY and GBPJPY have closed with 20 pips profit each, while EURJPY still open with FLL = -17 pips.

Still Open Trade#5-250408 :

P = +128
FLL = - 158

Frankly, I dont know where will this trade goes, should i close it and find other ways or what I don't know - But I will keep this trade open until it shows the way - there must be some tweaking need to be done when I close and open the trade - there must be a way - this is also another Set and Forget system I called it SNF02 - if this one is also successful then I will have 2 Set and Forget system that is working - but so far, no Light on this one -

Have close Trade#5-250408 with -30 pip loss.

This is what I will do. I call this system SNF02 or KAS SNF02 Trading System.

This is done Daily.

Today 300408 at 9:18pm (or I can do it every morning at 8-9am also) I have opened one BBP ie, 1 Lot BUY EURSUD and 1 Lot BUY USDCHF.

What I will do is for Next day ie 2nd May (300408 night trade = 010508 morning trade - I would like to have reference time), I will look at which lot is positive and close the Positive one, and perform another BBP, and let it run the next day. Again, look for the positive one only but will always CLOSED THE EXPECTED PAIR and always remain GOOD RATIO, ie. 1 BUY EU and 1 BUY UC or 2 BUY EU and 1 BUY UC or 1 BUY EU and 2 BUY UC, so that not to use excessive margin.

At the same next day, ie 2nd May - a SSP is also initiated, ie, 1 Lot SELL EURUSD and 1 Lot SELL USDCHF and wait for next day 3rd May to close the positive and reopen another SSP based on the same GOOD RATIO rule for BBP.

Hope this KAS SNF02 will also work - need time and patience to test and measure to make it work.

KAS SNF02 update :

When I open the PC at this moment, the BBP (BUY EU BUY UC PAIR) shows both positive pips - I guess this is what I call 'lucky', so I have to close it for 35 pip net.

Reopen another BBP. BUY EU at 1.5573 and BUY UC at 1.0418

Result so far, KAS SNF02 :

P/L BBP = +35
P/L SSP = 0
Net P/L = +35

Re-write the Rule for KAS UTS01 Trading System.

UTS - Undisputable Trend System 01.

This method is through observation. I am shying away from trading 5m chart or lower - TO ME, there is still nothing wrong with trading 5m chart ONLY thing is it is just like RAT RACE, and the amount of time spending on screen is huge. I would like to trade or open the charts about few minutes a day, at different time of the day - I want to reduce the EMOTIONAL that associates with trades - NO MORE CHASING FOR SIGNALS or WAITING patiently (for how long?) for the perfect signal.

So, what is the Rule for KAS UTS01 Trading System ?

Here is the rule.

1) Trade any pair. I am trading EU, UC, GJ, EJ, UJ, GU - 6 pairs all together.
2) Use only 30m chart - for all the pairs.
3) Use 21 LWMA (blue) and 49 LWMA (red).
4) Enter or Close or Reopen Positions only MAXIMUM ONE Daily OR NONE.
5) Enter BUY at or after the CLEAR crossing of BLUE/RED up (blue line above red line).
6) The next day, check at 3 intervals - 8-9am, 3-5pm, 9-10pm - that's it. If at any of the time mentioned there is CLEAR crossing of BLUE/RED down, close the trade and ENTER SELL.
7) If by next day, there is NO COUNTER SIGNAL, DO NOTHING, let the profit runs.


Attached are the chart example and the 6 open trades taken just now. Will follow the Rule and will see the result.

So far I have few systems under TEST AND MEASURE :

1) KAS SNF01 - set and forget system - enter morning check at night.
2) KAS SNF02 - hedge set and forget system - morning, daily
3) KAS UTS01 - close to set and forget, based on signals, 3 times a day checking.

Will post the result DAILY on the above system.

Sometime, in this forex business, if you are relax, CONCIOUS CLEAR, things will come in your way - I believe in that.

Look at the result currently, just few minutes after entering the trade just now - how tempting it is for you to close the trade, WITH 55 PIPS profit!

I will follow the rule. Anyhow this is demo, but I am quite used to trade DEMO like LIVE, but I am the kind of GUY who will follow the Rule that I set. Will only break the Rule if the Result is not good. Rule is created based on LONG HOURS OF OBSERVATIONS, after observations.

KAS SNF01 :

Have initiated a total of 6x2 = 12 BUY/SELL orders for the 6 pairs, each with TP of 20 and SL of -40.

KAS SNF02 :

One of the BBP has shown a 61 pip positive, Close the BUY EU, Reopen another BBP, and at the same time open another SSP. P = + 61 and FLL = - 87.

KAS UTS01 :

For all the 6 pairs, there is no counter signal, so all the trades are still open with FLL = - 200 for all 6 pairs.
Attached is the current status of the trades and the chart (no Blue Line (21 LWMA) crossing the Red Line (49 LWMA))

Update on KAS UTS01 :

After checking thoroughly all the 6 pairs, 3 pairs have actually shown counter signal, ie, the EURUSD has given BUY signal, USDCHF has given SELL signal and USDJPY has given SELL signal.

Close the 3 pairs with -174 pip loss and enter BUY EU, SELL UC and SELL UJ. The rest of the pairs remain.

Current status as attached.

FLL = -66

Hit 4 x 20 TP and 3 x - 40 SL, net P/L = -40 pip with FLL = -20.

KAS SNF02 Update : (on this one I dont follow the daily rule, probably 3 times a day, or whenever I log in PC or when I see positive pip in favor)

Close 1 SELL EU and 1 BUY EU - where both are positive pips

The BBP now left with only 1 BUY EU and 1 BUY UC.
The SSP now left with only 1 SELL UC, so, initiate another SSP.


Now,

P = +177
FLL = -160 (around there)

KAS UTS01 Update :

FLL = -242 pip.

No counter trend signal yet, except about to Counter Trend for EURJPY but not yet, so the trades remain open. Will see what happen.

When I open the PC and the charts, I see positively that there is Beauty in this TEST and MEASURE analysis, because I run all these in demo trades - but the result today IS NOT ENCOURAGING at all.

KAS SNF01 Update :

2 of the Orders did not get executed.

Net P/L = -100
Overall result using this system so far,

#1 = +120
#2 = -20
#3 = +100
#4 = -100 (today)

KAS SNF02 Update :

When I open the chart, here is the status before :

P/L = +177
FLL = -220

Then on the SSP, there is a positive pip for SELL EU, but there are 2 SELL UC that are negative, so, cannot close. For the BBP, there is BUY UC positive, so close the trade and initiate another BBP.

Status :

P/L = +211
FLL = -259

Lesson learned : Trading based on signals cannot be left like Set and Forget system - when I was AFPC, there were counter trend signals - need to figure out different trading system based on this result -

Analysis and Action Plan based on the result today :

Question is, am I changing my rule too fast - No, I don't think so. Am I not letting the Trading system run for few weeks before judgment ? No, I don't think so - sometime, it is not that we don't have patience - I have been patient for almost a year - trying many different things and I know one of my trading has worked but THE TIME STARRING ON THE SCREEN is the one thing that I cannot handle anymore.

So, KAS SNF01 - is this method profitable or not - with 4 tests done so far and the observations done for almost 3 weeks, I personally think this trading system CAN produce NET positive result in a month time, but not that great. Based on the observation especially today and yesterday, I will tweak the rule of putting orders, set higher TP and SL and I will name the method KAS SNF03 - an upgrade version of KAS SNF01.

What about KAS SNF02 - this method so far is the safest, like Roller Coaster - I think I will keep this trades until I find what's the best time to close and re-open - I probably should have done it daily from now on - AND NOT close and reopen positions more than twice a day.

I will forget about KAS UTS01 system, it does not work because like any other TRADING SYSTEM based on signals - you have to be there at the EXACT correct time, AT THE BEGINNING OF THE SIGNALS and AT THE BEGINNING OF THE COUNTER TREND SIGNALS - if not, you are going to be definitely keep losing.

So, by tomorrow will be the beginning of KAS SNF03 method together with KAS SNF02 continuation.

Introducing KAS SNF04 :

It is a variation of KAS SNF02 using the Negative correlated pair the EU and the UC.

This time around, the Rule tested is simpler.

1) Perform BBP, ie Buy 1 lot EU and Buy 1 lot UC, anytime.
2) Set pending SELL orders, for both lots, -40 pips away from the BUY positions.
3) Because both pairs are negatively correlated, IF only one pair is hit, NOT both, then, the overall Buy Buy Sell should be positive, over time - and that will be the time where I will close all positions and restart.
4) It may NOT become positive or Both may hit the Sell orders, but that is the Risk with this rule. At that time also, we will close the positions with negative pips and restart.

Let see how this System works.

Have initiated the trade just now, tomorrow will be the update.

Will see what happen at the end of the day.

The other system (SNF02, SNF04) remain the same - no activity can be done.

Looks good, still few pairs have not hit the pending orders. Will see the result tonite.

as attached, I have set the BUY pairs to have SL = -80 and TP = 80 and the Orders to have SL = -40 and TP = 40.

Will see what happen.

Today looks like I am nearing at the end of the tunnel - where there will be light especially with my Set and Forget system.

KAS SNF02 Update :

Not good.
P/L = +211
FLL = -441

For this system, I will see whether this system can make profit over long period of time and I want to see how much drawdown it will be. I dont have the drive to further tweak the system anymore, but just continue for observation.

KAS SNF03 update :

Net P/L = + 40.
(there are still pending orders but it is 10pm, so close all orders)
Result as attached.

Looks like this system works today - I would like to see CONSISTENT PROFIT on this one.

KAS SNF04 update :
Net P/L = + 40.
The prices hit the SELL of EU but do not hit the SELL of UC.
Later the prices hit all the TP and the SL (-80+80+40).

It looks very encouring the first day. Will continue testing and measuring.
