Trader, this is a great idea. I've noticed many times that we've actually achieved weekly profit targets to lose them with additional trading throughout the week. A basket TP would be great at protecting capital and protecting our increased account equity.

That is good too.. Like moving your stops to 100 after reaching 120 for the JPY crosses and 60 after reaching 70 for the non jpy pairs. Or just simply implement the trailing stop of 20 when it reaches 120 or 15 if it reaches 75.

Are you guys, enjoying your trades now.. Actually if i close now ive already reached my target of 500 pips for the week. But i dont know what to do tommorrow and Friday. My wife might ask me to drive her to shopping mall which i hate very much.

I had to restart it yesterday when the demo IBF server rebooted and I was out of action for a few hours, looks like I did it at the right time

Yeah i notice that rebootting everyday now, what is it with that??? Something going on with IBFx . Good for you .. Bro. i think you will be over 1000 this week that would be 33% of you 3000 account.

yes i was actually thinking the broker may start freezing ones acct when they find out this wonder workin ea

Because if I ever go live doing this I can afford to put in 300 rather than 3000 to start. But yes, my equity just peeked up over 400. Fantastic.

might actually be the other way round, they will try to buy the EA and supply it to there customers, remember the broker makes it's money on the spread not our profit, so the more we trade the more the broker makes, we also lose plenty of trades to help supply the markets with liquidity. so overall this is a great EA for the broker - just my view

BTW - both my demo's are around the same point on profit now (delight and ultimate running) not sure if they are meant to run differently, but the results are very close.

Its about that, there is only a slight difference between Ultimate and Delight, sometimes ultimate absorb the losses of TBest which is not found on Delight. But it also pick the winnings of Tbest. there are area that i think the broker are responsible. I dont know if its the broker or just the program. I am running a diagnostic and i notice that the varibale are change every now and then especially the boolean one ( true and false) one of the reason the some trades are missed. I estimated that if you are using NF we already missed around 6 or 7 profittable trades. On the IBFX almost the same number. If they are losers fine but they are winners. No error was gnerated by the EA but i know it should trade but did not trade. The program never stop as far as im concern, i dont know, something must be done.

If price is moving fast then some orders will not be filled and the EA most likely will not have the ability to reselect the price like we can on manual trades, so it is not traded. this i think could be the issue, and i don't believe we can fix this one. remember that when we manually trade, the broker will offer the best price if our choice is not filled, but the EA will place a trade and forget about it, so when the broker comes back as not filled the EA will not know how to respond. Hope this helps.

I wouldn't panic about it, a few trades missed and lost is nothing compaired to the gains we can make - think about the long term plan not todays fast action packed day. if the EA continues to work this well in a few weeks/month when the real money is put to the market, you won't even notice the missed trades, well all be fishing at our T101 annual forex gathering (don't tell the boss)

I'm getting more and more impressed in these EAs. I've not been able to test them on an ongoing basis, cause my computer isn't on 24-7, but the results are pretty good. Obviously, if I'm trading live, I'll have to keep a computer running around the clock.

I'm trying to decide what I can do once we are comfortable enough in the EA's to go live. So I'm open to suggestions.

What is the minimum I would need to fund an account to be able to trade up to 13 currencies, and still have funds available to cover any possible drawdowns? I don't have thousands of dollars to spare so what are the options? How many good brokers allow microlots ($.10 a pip), and use MetaTrader?

But depends who you ask whether they are "good" or not.

I'm a little worried about the 300 S/L, in case I lose my internet connection (there was a tornado warning yesterday) I could potentially lose the whole account. ( I know in reality that won't happen because of the basket approach, but you know what I mean).
Have you ever tried these EAs with say 100 S/L?

No not 100 SL that is very dangeroous. Maybe 200 its ok. what you should do is check your previous statement and look at the highest negative closed trade youhave. It could be higher than 100. I recommend 300 but 200 is ok 100 is pushing the envelop. The point is it should be the EA closing the trade not SL closing the trade. If that happend the EA will make an error in its calculation from the history of your past trades.

If you´re from europe i would suggest to take a look at Activtrades.
So far the majority of reviews i´ve read about them are positive.

I believe this is the correct values:

If in micro-lot account 0.10$ is 1pip - 1$ is 10 pips - 10$ is 100 pips
100$ is 1000pips so:

Ultimate - 1086 pips closed trades/ 220 open trades
Delight - 1073 pips closed trades / 198 open trades
Best - 392 pips closed trades / 137 open trades
Running on activtrades

Just glancing at today it hasn't closed any losers with more than 40 even, but today can't be a typical day, though I could get used to daily 30% profits
I'd just feel safer in case I lost my connection, or if they rebooted the server and the EA didn't kick in, or anything else that could go wrong.

as some of us agreed I have from Tuesday (30 min before London open) on three brokers (MIG, NF, Alpari) running with Delight EA.
I started them almost at the same time (+- 4 min) but NF shows a strange behavior.
The first 4-5 hours only 2 pairs were traded, but heavily, see the attached image. Also the gain is totally different:
Equities: (starting with 10.000)
MIG: 10.862
Alpari: 10.974
NF: 9.888

MIG and Alpari traded very similar.

What could be the problem? I'm afraid that we still have a buck in the EA.
Maybe you have an idea.

That chart looks very, very strange. First there is an extra 2 in the right hand corner of your chart. then the multiple entry. It seems to me that you have more than one same EA running. But again it is the same program that you used for MIG and Alpari and it is not doing that. If that happends again. I suggest you removed the EA (really removed) in all of the chart that it is aatched. Close your plat form to reopen again then reattached the EA. I think that is a question of EA on top of EA. It has nothing to do with the program. i think it is about your pc, i guess . Not sure never ever happend to me.

Solution is to learn the phone number of your broker, if things go bad, call them and close all trades, this will minimise the any loses until things can be started up again. Damage limitaion for the odd occasion when this might accur.
