It seems be good.
With false in StopTradingAfterSequence, a new order is opened immediately.

Hey Mer,
just curious how the USD/JPY trade ended. Looking at the charts during that time frame it didn't look good. The trade was already in it's 20th entry and it didn't look like it took out the 102.66 TP (real close depending on broker). Let us know. That's what we're all here for, to evaluate and tweek.

It did go to 24 which is why we test . I'll probably end up sticking with just Eur/Usd with this EA as I've never had a problem with it yet as it is the most consistent pair out there IMO.

Would you guys be interested in checking-out Dan Davidson's new journal. He originated the concept behind this thread. However, his system has since evolved into a more powerful one, with less risk. His journal is called FXTradepro "Lucky 7" Journal. With capital of only about $5k, you could enter a r:r ratio of 1:1, having the chance of winning $1k while risking only $1k. He's been logging his daily results. Perhaps members of this thread would be interested in such a modification, as it would prevent the account "blow-up" if you lose...

I don't think I should have to pay a "monthly fee" just to see info we can get from others unless you're going to provide it to us for free here on the thread.

I agree that it should be "Free Share". I am not advocating paying at all. My point was that the 7 series strategy may be worthwhile exploring and discussing on this thread because it's safer and more powerful than the 24 series strategy...

Hey Xaron, I've been using your entries and I have had 3 trading days in a row so far where I have not gone above 3 sequences with your EA! I think one of the keys to the success of this EA is to really FINE-TUNE your entries guys!

Hi all.... My Sequencer EA v1.2 doesn't seem to be taking trades... smiley face OK, set to both long and short, live trading etc... all the basics are OK.. Time entry false, price entry false, breakout entry true... but no trades?

any ideas?

I usually enter between 7am - 9am gmt but I use an entry system that uses sma lines, s/r, and price movements.

Just for info: I found a minor bug: If the EA is in it's last progression level the BreakEven function won't work. I'll fix that asap.

Xaron... THANKS for all your work on this... I am getting a "trading has been stopped" error when I activate my EA with new OCO entries... Can you tell me why? (The EA was applied, but I had unchecked allow live trading after the trade last night, then re-checked it with new OCO entry levels...)

I removed the EA, then re-applied it with the same settings and all was well, if that helps....

Yeah thanks for making this E.A., I really like the oco function, however it works fine on my demo but as soon as I use it on a real acc it 'plays up' Yesterday it opened the first order but then no more even though the S.L. was hit and today it did open the 2nd progression but twice! So i ended up with double the lots open that I wanted to. Any ideas!

Have you corrected the minor bug about the StopTradingAfterSequence ?
If we put "true", the EA effectively stops trading but if we want to launch again an order later, the EA don't start with "false".
We must stop MT4 and open it again to begin the sequence.
Maybe have you another solution ?

No worries. Just an idea, would it be possible for the E.A. to set a pending order for the next progression rather than opening it itself? The reason I say is because live trading the E.A. reacts a little slower to open the next progression however if it was set as a pending order it would not be a problem (unless caused by the broker)

So basically there would always be an open trade + a pending trade.

Its just an idea and i do appreciate all your work with this E.A.,
