Meaning a lot of the capital is not being used in the trading if you have 10,000 initial capital you should be trading 0.3 lots. Then your increase should be 15%. Friday is someday i really dont want to trade as much as possible. Normally if i am ahead and about in my target by Friday morning. I close early and enjoy the rest of Friday. That just me.
my accounts will be starting the week at $5500, should i adjust my trade size from 0.1 to either 0.2 or 0.15

I would say .15 lots if your broker accept it. To test do a manual and put this amount as your lot. IF the sell or buy bar is greyd then that lot size is not accepted by your broker. Here is how to calculate your current balance / 3000 is the lot size. If the lot size is not acceptable by your broker.. select the next lower acceptable lot. i dont know if it is clear. A note to everyone--I will not be trading the TraderBestEA. Because this is the NFP week. Also you should start trading the opening. We might be seeing a lot of volatility on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday and then it will slow down and will start to move again on Thu London. But i could be wrong.

Opps sorry it was the FXDD.. It is located on..... /expert/files that is recorded if you turn the option into "true"

Trader, I have the setting set to true. Looked under that directory and there are 0 files. Could Vista be keeping the file from being recorded?

Look again, Vista has nothing to do with it. It is the MT4 program that write that. Check the expert tab at the terminal window and read it to me.

Good morning,
attached are the results for week 17 (4/21-25) for Alpari and Mig.

MIG Ultimate: 249 pips with some open
MIG Delight: 271 pips with some open

ALPARI Ultimate: 293 pips with some open
ALPARI Delight: 377 pips with some open

When I compare my results with the other reports, my are much less.
MPP reported for MIG 706 pips and 1346 pips.

Also Malarraz reported for Alpari 912 pips.

How is it possible, that we have such a difference even with the same broker?

might have something to do with the time we start trading, my mig demo wasn't active until later on monday, whereas my MT4 demo was run from sunday night.

Just a thought.

I started both brokers on Monday morning which makes definitely a difference, but not such a big one.
Probably we have to dig into the reports and compare each trade. Lot of work but maybe worth it.
What we also can do is, to start trading different brokers and members at a defined time with a defined setting (pairs, EA).
I would suggest to start with only one EA in order to minimize the work and maybe for 2 days.
I can do ALPARI and MIG.

i think the EA needs to be run for the week, so far each week the Ultimate has lost at the start and then gain towards the end, so a full week would be more viable, starting say 30mins before the london open and closed 30mins before the NY open on fridays.

I have a metatrader demo and a mig demo, also thinking about it, i closed out my trades later on friday than most, and maybe the way we close has an affect. this might be to much to worry about in the end though as we clearly made some pips for no work, the minimums return is around 10% so far i think, which is fine by me.

best stands at $9290 with +35.98 floating

Ultimate stands at 10,361.13 with +12.29 floating

Delight stands at $10,472.91 with -37.38 floating

what do you mean by metatrader demo? Metatrader is the platform and not a broker. Usually brokers are providing the platform and the data.
Please verify who this broker is.

Guess that the platforms downloaded directly from Metaquotes ( http://www.metaquotes.net ) has the possibility to have a demo ... Not sure about this.

I would suggest the following:
Test definition:
start: Tuesday (just to use the rest of this week), 30 min before London open
end: Friday, 30 min before NY open
EA: TradersDelight
Pairs (13):
eurusd, usdchf, usdcad, audusd, nzdusd, eurchf, eurgbp, gbpusd, usdjpy, eurjpy, gbpjpy, gbpchf, aujpy

For the reports please use only pips (since some might have different currency accounts).

It would be great to compare at least 4 different brokers and that all these brokers are tested by severall users. What I mean is that e.g. Alpari is done by severall users in order to compare the same broker at different places/time-zones.

I will do ALPARI, MIG, NF

Can we all agree on that?

Hello and Gmornin from NY to all.
Sad news .. I have to reevaluate the Trader Best because it is not performing as it should be. For those who have this EA by this week you may continue using it. I have no problem with Ultimate and Delight as they both performed the way they are designed to do.

My sugggestion in the usage of the EA, if you can subscribe to Antomi suggestion it would be fine. However if not, it is still fine. We are in the testing mode and I would recommend that you run it the full length of the trading sessions for the week and then analyze your results and then compare it with others, That is the reason I would really encourage to attached the statement generated in HTM file. If you have a problem that your name is written there, go to ...View...Source and then replace or erase your name from the source code, resave and the resave HTMfile attached. Of course you have to makes sure that you only attached the trades done for the week by specifying the Custom Period. In this way we could all analyze freely the statement. IMHO

ok i will run one plaform with delight and one with utimate as this is already running - i have only been testing the ultimate as this seemed to offer a no thinking approach to trading, as in is it ranging or trending.
