The market seems to shrugging off oil prices ( I find this very strange as typically markets do drop on high oil prices)

A break of Friday's High could lead to a break of last week's IB top, at 208.08. Price is not moving very hard, could be because it's early in the session or it's being rejected.

Nice, congratulations so far. This is an assembly of useful indicators. Myself, I discovered not to be a trendfollower, its not in my nature to do so, ergo trendfollowing indicators are nothing for my trading. Once that you understood how MAs and RSI work internally, you can either like that or not.

So I'm rather a countertrend trader to put it like that. For that, I consider bending MAs as distortions to the current trend, in the range of a standard deviation from a pivot point level. While you enter on such a "breakout", i wait for a reversal or a bounce at an extreme point.

Since everybody needs to find something that suits himself best, I'm glad you found something .

I know this thread is for gj ... but

look at this awesome inside bar setting up on 2 hour eurcad

Rapid rsi should turn up later in the session if in fact this is a pivot and we are to get a retracement.

I shorted GJ at 207.5 since in 1h chart i saw a double top n a hanging man. lets see how GJ go. SL 208 TP 206

If we notice the Eur/Cad and GJ relationship. It is inverserly. If EC up, GJ down.

last week i was bearish all the way, i'm still not sure if this week will be bullish all together. let me share my thoughts with u guys, i might have had something i've overlooked.

there are several reasons why i thought GJ would start moving down. lets "PRETEND" all the news weren't "bad". i'm going to explain myself strictly technical.

here's a daily chart.

Strong rejection of 76.4 fib in conjunction with a classical bearish divergence and upper TL (which makes 3 confluences) on the daily chart gave me strong belief that the pair would fall. however, last thursday/friday, i thought we would have a triple top, but yet the price kept on moving up. now i see the trendline on my oscillator broken?. i see it clearly after the market opened today. things are getting confusing to me. but if this pair keeps on moving up today (as most of u are predicting) a retest of 208.9x is highly possible. however, 208.9x is in confluence with a major Fibonacci fan (38.2) as shown in this weekly chart, and if broken 88.6 fibo should be reached by the end of this week at 211.08, if not today, who knows.

pay attention to the way price has been reacting to that fibo fan the past few months, cool right? my prediction? it's where the arrow on the right is! if this upwards movement keeps on going.

i'm still bearish on GU, and still not sure if GJ is really going up. but this is forex, and we are just audience betting on the winner

I use rsi as pivot indicators plus a 'fudge factor ' as my main technique for trading
