InterbankFX, neumix two that i know use mini account. I dont know about alpari, never use them.

Hi Trader 101! Will Ultimate EA trade just 2 pairs instead of the 13? For example: If I just want to trade the EURUSD and the USDCHF, will it open and close trades automatically just on those 2 pairs according to EA logic?

Sorry.. Yeah it was close by the program... after reaching -$500. Yeah it was a loss. I will try again tonight.

Yes it can. Even 1 pair only. Let me just remind you that trading just a few pair/s defeat the purpose of basket trading.

Very tough trading this week...
Ultimate is still -150 pips under.
My Long Term was closed @ -$500

Here are my FXDD demo results:

EAs effected on 20th 6 pm EDT. Ult, Del & Best run separately on 3 FXDD demo accounts, 1:200, $10,000 starting Balance each.

15 pairs: GU, GJ, UJ, AJ, EJ, EU, Uchf, UC, EC, EG, CJ, AU, NU, Echf, Gchf. Hourly charts.

1st day: As at 5pm EDT 21st of April 2008:
- Ult: Balance $10,848, Equity $10,820 Margin $978
- Del: 10,788 10,787 978
- Best: 9,963 9,867 296

2nd day: @ 5 pm EDT 22nd April:
- Ult: Balance $10,740, Equity $10,440 Margin $1,032
- Del: 10,699 10,357 983
- Best: 10,138 10,032 574

3rd day: @ 5 pm EDT 23rd April:
- Ult: Balance $10,444, Equity $10,160 Margin $934
- Del: 10,420 10,093 934
- Best: 9,691 9,625 498

I'm seeing the same results on the FXDD account about $400 loss today.

Trader, can timezone be impacting the EA performance? Most of the platforms are running on GMT time and FXDD is GMT +2. That means the close of the daily candle would be 5:00 pm EST.

No problem with the time zone. You very well know that the Market is choppy on all currencies. Its not only us, guys, all my friends that are running their EA keeps PMing me having the same problems. Had this been real money i am not going to trade until this is over. This is what we call drought in the market. I am glad that RisingSun is positive in 2 EAs. I am -$13.21 in 0.1 lot trading that is about 25 pips. I know i am still in a striking distance should be market start to make a trend tonight.

Ultimate equity is now (9 pm EDT) $10,300 being slightly better than I reported for 5 pm EDT.

Attaching an image of my FXDD Time. Does this coinside with yours? Am running from Tokyo and but not sure where my server is. Maybe FXDD has different servers in different part of the world.

The way i understand Brokers have the same server time all over the world. Different location maybe but not time.

I'm not sure where you are getting the time information. The time I see on the last bar is 04:27, which is 9:27 EDT.

I am also up an additional $120 since I posted last.

Those times are same as mine. The image is from a chart with an indicator called "Clock v1_2" attached. If you want to use it, make sure to check the box allowing DDL.

You said GMT +2, but it looks like it is +3, or am I wrong?

My IBFX is now positive
Ultimate - about +300 pips
Delight - about +250 pips
I think we can reached the target of 500-600 pips until tommorrow.

Hi trader101

Just some humble suggestion. I hope you don't mind my input.

I read through several posts of this thread then I realized we perhaps using the same principle of trading. As I'm aware that you are not to about reveal your system I just want to suggest to stick with just one or two pairs, and using this principle just as guidance/direction.

Major problem with this system is on the entry/exit system, that was the part I struggled the most. Used to trade with 16 pairs and commodities using this strategy but after learning some of the system's weakness now I only analyzed those pairs but enter only on one or two.

Here is another problem.

For eg. if our risk is say 10% and we play on 10 pairs
then I'd have to open 1% positions on each of the 10 pairs
say that in total we get 1000 pips, that will only count as 1000/10 positions = 100 pips of the 10% risk

Thank you for your suggestions.. If you think your system work for you .. stay with it. My system work for me ill stay with. I am not a big fan of counting percentage risk, same thing some people like to put SL and TP in their trades and I am not and i like it so ill stay with it, maybe your counting percentage works for you.. stay with it. Ive been doing this with the futures and it was working good. Every trader do things for a reason, other may say nuts but still a reason what counts is are you making profit?? If you do, stop caring about what others are saying. Remember no one knows where the market is going so no one is right at the moment. Again thanks for your suggestions.

T101 it seems my take profit for the 100 tp cpairs are still 60 as you can see from my attached statement. What I did was used the zipped new version you sent out, downloaded a new MT4 platform but I still seem to get TP of 60 for all cpairs. I started with a mini $3,000.00 account with leverage at 1:100 and I'm using Interbankfx. Any suggestions to get TP 100 for the relevant cpairs? Thanks for your help!

Its a good thing you attached that statement . I can see you are using a miniaccount thus the "m" added to the symbol, that what makes it only 60 pips. It does not recognized the code. I will make a special function for your miniaccount by next week for now stay with 60 tp OK.
