DislikedHallo Niaga!
The v.9.2 has the trailing feature for the "right side" built in, that was intially found on the 34.1 for instance. So this EA is both safe in respect to the low drawdown, and profitable as it trails the winning side after reaching the profit target. I run it on GBPJPY, USDJPY and EURJPY and found they behave differently enough to even give a risk trade off.
Have a good weekend!
Ciao!

DislikedHello Gnat,
I started tracking this thread today and it has certainly caught my interest. I have also reviewed the attachments but have NOT been able to find the V 9.2 you referenced. Can you direct me to it or perhaps repost it here???
Many thanks,

DislikedSorry, I can't find TC EMA 3.1 EA in www(dot)trendchaser(dot)org (http://www.trendchaser.org), could you upload it here?Ignored
DislikedTC, I am running v32 and I think that the problem is when the EA opens too many trades in one direction before it hedges. So if you limit that number of consecutive loosing orders the DD will be much smaller. I see no reason to open so many because you will finally gain only 0.1%. I hope u can understand what I want to say.Ignored
DislikedHallo Pip Parade!
Please look at trendchasers avatar. You will find the way underneath

DislikedHello Gnat,
Thanks for the tip. Gave it a quick look and will try to get back there. Monday morning at the office you know.
On a related note, I have downloaded what I think is TC's newest version. Have it set on the gbpjpy with the smiley face but no trade. It's been in place on IBFX since 10:30 am (California) and the journal notes all tell me that it's set up fine.
Some users reference immediate trades. Isn't this EA designed to enter trades fairly frequently or am I missing something? The gbpjpy has moved about 50 pips during this time.
Thanks, Pip ParadeIgnored
DislikedHey Pip Parade!
My problem in giving you the appropriate answer is going hand in hand with the fact that there is a latest version of the Super EA family, a latest version of the Super EMAs and also another new tribe on a popular system. So, in order to help you solve the problem, we (TC, ES, many more and me) need to know the version. If you stuck to the Super EAs, then it might be v.35. But the latest is really v.9.2, as it was constructed after then end of the Super EA developement.
You see, we just need a bit more info and then the answers will flow freely!
Have a good Monday!
Ciao!

DislikedHi Gnat,
Ever have days where you feel like the local village idiot died and left his job to you? It seems like the harder I try to start testing/trading this ea the more confused I get.
I've been through trendchaser's trendchaser psar thread (#54756) page by page. Have not been able to do the same with this thread ... yet. I very much like what I see in them both but am having trouble sorting it out.
Have also visited the "offsite" website and properly set up an account but again am looking for both the time in my schedule and the proper steps to begin this ride. As for the version I'm using, I'm not sure. It calls itself "trendchaser_psar(1)" and I believe it was from post #1 of the 54756 thread. I was trying to develop a PSAR based EA these last few weeks and found #54756. Now, my challenge has changed to trying to better understand what appears to be already successful.
Gnat, you mentioned v.9.2 as well as v.35. Cashfinder in post # 94 in #54756 likes v.32 because it is simple and automated. That would be good for me as well. ElectricSavant seems to say that it's all good ... as for me, right now I would be happy to begin trade/testing 1 (or 2) of these ea's that you would recommend. My immediate objective it to set up one of these wonderful PSAR based ea's and (hopefully) begin counting pips.
So, would you be able to direct me to a specific place for loading one of the newer, simpler ea's? Specifics are helpful. I'm not a programmer (or a village idiot either ) so sometimes I get tripped up over relatively simple items.
My thanks to you and others who have contributed to this.

DislikedHallo Pip Parade!
Sorry for taking that long! This is really funny!! As I have learned now, you have switched to the v.32 Super EA and I guess you will like it as soon as it runs without giving trouble.
From what you posted I take that you have enough experience to set up and EA on an MT4 platform, but in fact there is an area where it has been described here and on the other site. So I guess you will be fine. Please note that no mq4 file is needed to run an EA. Please see the details in the PM I sent you.
If you have any further questions after that, feel free to ask them here, there, everywhere!
Good day!
