EMA 25-50 Trading System (Detailed)

If anyone is interested I would like to revive this thread so have removed the mods from my charts. Currently:

Short on usdchf - 0.9997.
Stop is 1.0085 being 1.5 ATR.
Initial TP 55pips being 1ATR.

Short eurchf -1.5825
Stop - 1.5893
Initial TP - 50 pips

I have moved my SL to B/E and will watch the move from here. I dont think there is any need to rush on the trailing stop yet.

I intend to post a lot more here on your thread as I am trading your system live across quite a few pairs and would appreciate your thoughts as time goes by.

Here's a short I took a little earlier today, I know I am a little late in posting but there is a reason. This is what I interpret as a borderline signal as price has not really crossed the 55EMA with any authority - only just. The movement was strongly supported by RSI so I took the trade after waiting for an entry on the 15min chart. Price bounced off the 25EMA and I was in at 160.13. 1st TP was 159.32 (1ATR) with the initial SL at 161.33 (1.5 X ATR).

i really like this stratagy coz its actually very easy, but my question is that . does thia work for all time frame , coz i trade long and short term. but mostly i go long.

please i need to be clerified on the time frame that this Stratagy really works best for. and also the settings for the STOCHASTICS u did not not state MA method for the STOCHSTICS.

This is a strategy for the 4h timeframe, full details are at the start of the thread. I have my Stoch set at 5,3,3 - Simple MA. I hope this helps.

I'm writing an EA similar to this one and I'm having the same issue.

The EA fires a trade on every bar or almost every bar that meets the signal criteria.

I'm hunting for code that will fire the trade only on the first bar after all the conditions have been met.

I've been running the EA and it will also fire trades on the first bar after a downtrend.

If I'm reading the system correctly - it should trade only after the crosses in the direction of the current trend.

well, missed that move. if effi gets to read this soon, would like a question answered. is this the start of a big move or just a minor one. it has moved a good 200 pips on the usd/jpy, all the sigs are right, 25 over the 50 ema, the stoch and rsi over 50, i also have the macd on my chart and it is above 0 line on the 4hr chart, and the candle is way over the 50 ema on the d1 chart, although the 25 is well below the 50 right now. or should i wait for a dip and then get in??? thanks in advance.
