Hi Derm,

Sorry for the delayed reply.

LISPA1a best suits the Imran system as discussed in the thread (but has no good filter). LISPA2 is slightly different version (but has better filters). Both have been suggested, tested and approved by Imran. All other signal systems are not related to Imran system. They can be used alone or as additional confirmation (one has to observe their signals in historic charts and use, but generally the default settings are good).

LISPA1a (or LISPA1a-new, which allows you to change parameters) can be downloaded from my other thread (follow the link from the first post of this thread).

Hope this clarifies about the signaling programs.

Regards,
chandra

Hi walewhat,

I do not come here everyday, except to check pending News. So, sorry for the delay in the reply.

The best timeframe is as mentioned in Imran's thread. 5-Minute. But 15M is also has been good and some are using it on 30M and 1H also. If you are using Lispa2 signals, SecondEntries signals are good for 5M and FirstEntries (or both) are good for 15M. The signals are not for immediate Buy/Sell. They just show that there is a chance for a move in that direction.

StopLoss and TakeProfit are big issues and you have to read a lot in Imran's thread.

I hope you read the apresser's huge summary. That is great apresser.
If you have not, read it a few times! Use the link below:
http://www.forexfactory.com/showpost...postcount=6917

News time best to avoid at least 15 minutes before and after. Some BIG news will need an hour before and after (such as NFP).

chandra

Hi All,

Just like my old LISPA1a-new, I am releasing all parameter changeable version for LISPA2 also. There is no change in the strategy. Here is the .ex4 file (just put it in MT4\experts\indicators folder and restart MT4 and attach it to any chart).

The Parameters that can be changed are:

Hi soul,

That will be little more complicated. You can use the Lag-Watcher to monitor other TimeFrame Lag status. Check the previous page for that indicator (post # 173).

Hi soul,

I will not be working on it now. May be later. For now, you have to use one chart for each timeframe you want to get alerts. To strictly monitor 0.15/0.85 crossings, please use LISPA1 series from my earlier thread (check the link in the first post).

Hi Soul,

I had some time today and decided to finish it. So, here it is. Better than you would have expected!!!

Any TimeFrame monitoring can be done on any TF chart and on any Pair!

See the next post for the details.

Hi All,

Here is the BEST LISPA2 so far. It can be used to monitor any TimeFrame Lag signals of any PAIR in any Chart (but be sure to have that Pair in "Market Watch" list, otherwise you will not have any data). Even Lower TF can be monitored, but you cannot see the arrows/lines, only Text signal will be shown for lower TF. Any number of times you can attach it to same chart (just change settings and Text position). To find which signal belongs to what setting, just move the cursor over the text or arrow/line. Unlike my other alert programs, here the email alert is enabled for 1M chart also (it was just fixed). If you want to see more signals, just reduce the filters.

There is no change in the strategy. Here is the .ex4 file (just put it in MT4\experts\indicators folder and restart MT4 and attach it to any chart).

Almost all Parameters can be changed as listed below:

MaximumBars=1000; // do the calculations for this many bars only (increase it if needed)
ArrowDistance = 10; // place arrows from price by this many pips.
ArrowSize = 2; // using zero will remove the Arrows.
VerticalLineWidth=1; // using zero will remove the lines.

Dear Chandra,

thanks for your great indicator.
Is it possible to call this indicator via iCustom? I can see two Buffers in options. Do these buffers contain the arrow prices?

Hi WSA,

The LISPA2 cannot be called using iCustom. The Buffers are used to store Lag values and not signals. These are created as Objects and not easy to call. My other program LISPA1 uses Buffers for signals and can be called using iCustom. When there is no signal, the Buffer will have zero value and when there is a signal it will have arrow position price. Feel free to use it for any EA you are planning to write.

chandra

Hi, I want to ask about the alert time setting.
If it is due to local time, I want to set the alert in between morning 6:00 a.m~ next day 02:00 a.m

am I set 0600 to 0200 correctly ?

the next question about the alert appear ...
if i apply 15 min blue lag into 5 min chart, once 15min blue up cross 0.15 or down cross 0.85 for the first 5 min (the finished bar of 5 min and remain 2 bar to finish 15 min ). Will the alert appear? if not , can you make an option to alert when the 1st bar finished on that chart?

Thanks!!!

Hi soul,

The sound alert does not work across date line. So, it has to be within the same day based on local time. May be I will change it in the next version to work across the date line.

The alerts are all based on the completed bar of their respective TF. I don't think of changing that.

chandra

Hi soul,

I can make it work across the dateline (when the first time is bigger than the second). So, it is easier to keep just local time. May be I can also make it to have two ranges of alert times.

For now, I think the only way to do it will be to attach the indi twice with two different alert times (600-2400 and 0-200).

chandra
