If you notice in chart I posted previously, I have diffent colors, which sometimes overlap. These colors indicate the different sessions, Tokyo, London, New York. I find it really helps in identifying session highs and lows and gives you additional perspective in determining likely price movement.
Thank you for sharing it GodfreyH. Seems like a helpful tool. I have stared so much on my screens over time that I notice those sessions high/low without. But I guess that indicator would ease my eyes for a bit

guys, try and keep your charts within the recommended sizes ... it whacks out the page otherwise.

GJ moves in 100 pip ' blocks' I have often mentioned this to other trader. Each trading instrument has its own way of moving , you just have to study the charts to figure it out

In other words GJ breaks 204 , chances of it going to 205 are very high ,

breaks down 202 , chances of touching 201 are very high etc etc
Thanks Malcolm, for this insight. I just started using this script a 2 or so days ago, and have been experimenting with different bar sizes. With a bar size of 50 pips, it has seemed to play into the intervals you have described. With that in mind, I would like to see one of these bars close above or below the blue horizontal lines.

I however don't like trading at this hour and prefer the Late Tokyo, London moves as they tend to be cleaner. Half an hour after the right move, you've collected your pips and are back in bed. Since this is an entirely new style of trading for me, I won't commit too much as yet, until I trust it.

yep, I took a short out up @ 201.90 since I got stopped out on the last 1/3 of my position. All mom's were pointing south and price got rejected @ 202.10 area so the risk was minimal. . .

You might like the euro / Us overlap to .... that is my zone to make pips. I day trade a 1,2 or 5 min chart deoending on market conditions.
